Dudleys

We stopped here while traveling on I-85 and based on earlier reviews chose Dudley's for dinner. The food was outstanding- my husband had oysters on the half shell and a mussel appetizer that was wonderful. I had a salad to start and fish and chips for dinner. The fish was well- prepared and hot, as were the fries. Anytime we're coming through Spartanburg we'll be stopping here. The space is a little noisy but in nice weather the patio seating makes up for thatOur server was Melissa - friendly and efficient- we so enjoyed meeting her

The state burger was cooked. Exactly how I wanted. The fries could've been more crispy. I love that. They bring out these cheddar biscuits to start with. Not quite as good as red lobster, but pretty close. I also had a drink. They had on special, which was the caramel apple sangria. I believe it was called.

We had oysters, a wedge salad, and the seafood alfredo. All very tasty and our waitress was very nice. Will be coming back

I'm from NYC and traveled down to South Carolina for a job, had a long day and really needed some good food to set it all right. Dudley's delivered far beyond my expectations. We ordered the fried calamari, the oysters, and the deviled eggs for appetizers. Everything was so good and so fresh. Then we each had the buttermilk chicken (best I ever had), the fish and chips (also the best I ever had) and the blackened chicken sandwich. Locals, try this place out. You won't regret it !! Side note: such amazing staff !!

We love Dudleys! Food and service is always wonderful. I love the shrimp and grits. So good!

Food was great. Service was outstanding. We will return. Loved it all. Fantastic ambiance.

Service was excellent but loaded baked potato came out dry with the toppings in a separate container. No butter. The wedge salad was large leafs of romaine and had a stale taste. The steak was fair. Good bar atmosphere but expensive for this caliber of food.

The food was very good. The server (I think her name was McKenzie) was very helpful and friendly.

We ate at Dudley's on Saturday night after having a beer at Plankowners Brewery (another favorite). We learned of Dudleys from an acquaintance who highly recommended it. Our server, Cat, was busy with a large table and it took her awhile to free herself. In the interim another server got our drinks and brought us two delicious cheese biscuits. When Cat became free she was apologetic beyond belief and provided wonderful service throughout the rest of our evening. Both of us ordered the ribeye with a salad and a loaded baked potato. The steak and potato were cooked to perfection and the bordelaise sauce was delicious. I'm a big eater but I was unable to finish the 14oz piece of meat and colossal potato. The restaurant itself was inviting and comfortable and the staff was cleaning continuously while we were there. The place really shined.Thanks to Cat and the whole crew for a wonderful meal and experience!

Amazing food the desserts are incredible as well!!! It's where the ones in the know go to eat and watch the game.
