So, we headed into the restaurant to dine there for the first time yesterday at the Double Dragon Restaurant.I can say that we had a pleasant experience.Zi was our server (the owner's son). He is a sweet young man and was very helpful in explaining anything I asked about certain menu items. We didn't know we could have such great sushi so close to home, so I know our daughter is going to be happy. I miss the sushi already. To be honest, I wasn't aware they served hibachi-style food as well as sushi .We ordered the Dancing Crab sushi roll (suggested by Zi), sweet bread (basically doughnut holes), and fried cheese wontons as a starter. Oh my goodness, I loved both of them!! My husband, I promise you, is not a fan at all of fried cheese wontons because, well, they have crab. But he absolutely loved these. Another thing to note is that the owners actually make these fresh, not prepackaged, like some other places we've been to. I also loved the taste of the sauce.I had the spare rib tips with pork fried rice, vegetables, and an egg. I fell in love with the taste of the rice because it reminded me of the Chinese food I had from Jersey growing up. The sauce of the spare ribs was delicious as well. My husband had his go-to General Tso's Chicken extra spicy and extra saucy. I've never seen that man eat the chicken first and leave the rice. Needless to say, he loved it.Our son had the pork and broccoli. He also enjoyed his food a lot.Our friend had the teriyaki chicken and pork fried rice with egg. Another hit.Onto some cons...In my opinion this restaurant has the potential to be more. While it has been here for a while, there are things to note that can make it feel like a place people would enjoy to sit and enjoy a meal.1) The paper plates and Styrofoam cups need to go. While I understand there was a pandemic at one point, we are past that, and honestly, a sit-down restaurant feels more inviting with metal utensils and real dine-in dishes and cups.2) I wasn't too fond of the shrimp egg roll at all. It was way too salty; I couldn't get past the first bite at all.3) Not as many tables, and there is room to add at least three more tables. All in all, despite the minor setbacks, we give this place four stars. I'd definitely return for in-restaurant dining, especially if the tableware were updated to something appropriate for its food.

We live in town and love coming here to get hibachi or Chinese cuisine. They have always been nice and they are very quick with food. Usually when we call in it doesn't take any longer than 15 minutes for the food to be ready for pick up. All the bad reviews i honestly don't understand. This is a very good and sweet local business we need to put more love into.

I decided to try this place because I'm new to the area however this is the first Chinese place that I've been to that is so expensive and for the amount you pay you don't get enough food also the food is nasty and some of the people that work there are very rude. I will never go there again

Seriously the most disgusting sushi I've ever had. I think the only way you could think this was okay is if you've never had it had a good restaurant. It takes like gas station or grocery store sushi. And the employees are not friendly at all. Mad that I wasted money here.

Saturday, noon, no one here, and still took me 30+ minutes to receive my online order. This is the closest Chinese place to me, and the food isn't that great, especially for that kind of wait.

I love the double dragon. I get the spicy tuna roll 3 or 4 days a week for lunch. Im usually full after eating half and for $6.50 its the best deal. On special occasions i love the steak and shrimp hibachi.

Visited this place last week. Cheese wonton was so greasy that oil was running out of parchment bag it was in. Could barely see any of the cream cheese mixture that's supposed to be on the inside[cutting corners]. Orange chicken was horrible. Double Dragon...how about taking more pride in what you serve your customers. They could have gone anywhere else, but instead came to you. That should count for something. RIGHT???

I read some negative reviews but I have had many great meals from this restaurant. I requested extra spicy on my meal and they did not disappoint. My wifes General Chicken was excellent, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was great.

If i could give negative stars i would. This is hands down the worst treatment i have received from a Chinese restaurant. They got my order completely wrong probably because they barely speak English. I ordered springs rolls and got sushi rolls. I can't eat sushi so I would never order it. When i told them i didnt order sushi as i dont eat it, they refused to believe me and insisted I ordered it simply because my number was on the order. After several minutes of back and forth, I realized they were refusing to refund my order, since I paid for it before I received it. I will take this up with my credit card company. I would suggest saving yourself the drama and avoid this place. It only got worse when I got home. The meat in my meal and my wife's was completely inedible. I am use to poor quality Chinese but there was something terribly wrong with the meat here, the best way to describe it is to say it doesn't taste real, it's a very fake tasting meat. The interior looks nice and is very deceptive as it does not reflect the quality of food they serve here. I thought all Chinese restaurants were pretty much the same anywhere you go, but this is hands down the worst one I have been to. This was my first visit and certainly my last. I should have paid more attention to the other negative reviews, and realized there was an issue when I was the only one in their restaurant during prime dinner hours on a Saturday. You've been warned.
