Ok folks. This is one of the best places to grab a bite. And I hope you are hungry. Stop by and support this guy and his crew on the corner of randleman road and vandalia in Greensboro. You will not be disappointed. The owner is Stack. He is the nicest guy with some of the most incredible food. I bring a chair and a portable table or tailgate of my truck. Most of the people take theirs to go and I have too but I like to stay too. It is quite a drive for me and totally worth it! He has plates that come with fries and bread or baskets with bread to make a sandwich. And So much more. You need to go see for yourself!

We didn't find it this trip and it was a Sunday! I've heard good things but cannot wait to try and blast a good review for myself! The one star is only because doing this review it made me rate a star.

Heard good things about this place but was disappointed when I arrived. Had the ribs with fries which was decent. The bbq sauce wasn't great it taste like Ray's baby back rib sauce, so nothing special there. Fries was sprinkle with some salt and pepper. I don't know how people are saying it's amazing. The cashier was asking for a tip in the Jar when I didn't even get my food yet. That's not how you do business my guy.

These guys set up in the corner of the Ace Hardware parking lot every day unless there is bad weather, they are at the intersection of Vandalia & Randleman Rd. They set up a couple of smokers on wheels, a couple commercial friers, a hot dog cart and a couple of canopies for cover. No it's not fine dining, but it's like rollin' up to somebodies backyard bbq/fish fry and getting a plate to-go...and the food I've had from here has been awesome. There is no posted menu, but I know by the stops I've made here that they do hot dogs, sausage dogs, ribs, wings, fried fish and fish sandwiches along with fries and maybe an item or 2 I'm missing...and the line here can be 15-20 deep around lunch time on saturdays. The hot dogs are grilled with a little char on them and fixed the way you want them and are only $1...the wings are whole wings, and the ones I had were fried perfectly and were excellent. They have a few sauces to apply if you want, 6 whole wings to an order for $7...the fried fish is great, really great. It's whiting that's lightly breaded then dusted with a seasoning blend after it's fried, the Fish Plate is 3 large pieces of fish with 3 slices of white bread and enough fries for 3 people for $10, you can get a fish sandwich with fries for $7 too if you prefer. This may not be a fancy or sophisticated set up, but you may be pleasantly surprised if you stop by just as I was.I was actually going to the Ace Hardware one day and there was a slight traffic jam getting into the parking lot, I thought why in the world is everybody piling into Ace Hardware like this, but after getting in the lot I saw they were all flocking to this corner of the lot carrying off sacks of to-go plates as fast as they could. I watched the action for a few minutes, went in the hardware store and when I came out there were twice as many people in line at the food tent than when I went in...I knew I had to go see what all the commotion was about, I'm glad I did now...I asked one guy if they had a name for this operation...he say's "Yeah, It's Doggone Good" ... and it is.
