DJ's Restaurant & SkyLounge

Visited DJs Restaurant off of Innes for lunch. There is plenty of parking around the side. Seating was relatively easy and service was good until the end. The French Dip had too much cheese in my opinion, on top of the bread. The krinkle style fries were a nice touch and the au jus dipping wasn't salty. The server did a great job checking up on us until the end, when I couldn't get the check. This was the only hold up here.

DJs is a popular spot but not one I've been to before. We went primarily because they have a well defined gluten friendly menu and it's even marked on the menu which is a very nice feature. I got the pizza which was very good but the whole menu was both wide ranging and tasty looking. We also got a salad which was large and well prepared. As I mentioned, they have a decent selection of gluten free options and take the time to mark them so you don't worry (the fries are not for example, but you don't have to wonder). It can be busy, especially for evenings as it's a popular bar among local students.

Wife and I were out and about and hungry so we decided to hit DJ's in Salisbury. We've been there numerous times over the years.It was a late lunch so it wasn't crowded. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server. The place was clean and well-lit.I opted for the Reuben and my wife got a chicken Greek wrap. The fries we got were well-seasoned and hot. My chips were exceptional. All crispy with no half raw floppers. Great job. My wife's wrap was prepared well and assembled without everything spilling out when you take a bite. Bravo! Don't you hate it when that happens? She said it was delicious.My Reuben was very good with one small drawback, it was swimming in dressing. The corned beef was tender and delicious. I'll order it again but will get the dressing on the side so I can control the amount on the sandwich. Prices are reasonable and service was good.

Being a Salisbury native, I have been to DJ's many times. Sadly, I just have never found anything that I enjoy. This visit my husband insisted we try the baked ziti (because I love ziti), but I was let down. I wish it had a meat sauce. The sauce was too sweet for me. The only reason for 3 stars is because my husband really enjoys it, and I like their drinks!

We quit eating there a while back. Just not good. A while back there was some complaints about the restaurant being too noisy to the neighbors. The owner was quoted using vulgar words about his unhappiness.

service sucks at bar the bartender more into phone then customer. This sucks she's not even hot lol

Shitty service. Wouldn't recommend. Management is stealing tips from the servers. Seen someone take tips off one of the servers table. Found out her name was jordan overhearing waitresses talking about her. What a thing to do. This is her

Disappointed. Drove from East Rowan to eat at DJ's tonight. We were greeted at the door and promptly seated. After we were seated we waited at our table for ~15 minutes and were not acknowledged again. No drink order and no server to come by and say 'I m busy and will be with you soon in a few'. We discussed other dinner options near by and settled on Hendrix down the street. The three of us got up and walked to the door leaving our menus and wrapped silverware on the table. We said "we'll see you next time. " to the hostess, that seated us, behind the register. She was very polite as she replied ok, see you later. I don't know that anyone knew we were there or even questioned us as we left. It's a shame, their food is usually very good.

Ordered a tequila and it had a bug in it! Told the waitress and she brought another one out. Long story short I was not compensated from the drink they expected me the pay for it. The manager came out and was rude and disrespectful while explaining to me that my compensation was the new drink but I still had to pay for it! Never going back and recommend others don't accept this trash and unsanitary policy!

Worst experience ever!!!! Douglas the manager needs to get a clue!!!!! I've been in the restaurant business since I was in my twenties and have never had to return two entrees and then be assaulted verbally by the kitchen manager as he stuffed his fat bald face while we were conversing!!!!! Grouper tacos----dead burnt and under seasoned and my second entree was supposed to be be a medium rare chopped steak came out well done!!!! I miss the old owner!!!! Do not visit this place! It's completely trash!!! Betty however was amazing!!! So sorry my dear
