Dixie Express

Dixie Express is the best fast food on Dixie Drive hands down! They have homemade chips and onion rings that are extremely fresh but also served piping hot. They come with the best homemade ranch! The burgers and hot dogs are also really good. I've always had good service and dealt with very friendly staff.

Just bought some hotdogs and took them home and had to throw them out,they had a smell like nothing that my wife or I have ever smelled!

One of the best combinations of Chili Dog, Cheeseburger, and Onion Rings in the area, maybe the entire state, is found here, maybe only surpassed by Old Sharkey's in Burlington. A number of places have one, or maybe 2 of these 3 items at this level, but the trifecta is exceedingly rare, and thus our visit on Saturday.There was nothing that disappointed - that was as it should be, and as it was expected.

Dixie Express is a surprise drive-thru from your first visit.For the money a decent hot dog right off.A good burger with just about any topping you want.Dixie Express offers a big list of milkshakes and each week is a different shake special.Now back to their food.Hot dog has a good chili on it.The meat on the burgers are good also.Normally I get Let-Tom-mayo-pickle.Dixie Express has good fries.Sometimes we get the Apple sticks and caramel dipping sauce as a dessert on the way down the road.Good price and quick service on our visit.We sometimes get their Onion Rings which are as good as they come.My wife will sometimes get their chicken tenders and fries.For a drive thru food is good as it gets.

In the last two weeks, they have gotten the order wrong the first trip and on the second trip I experienced the worst customer service ever. The lady was so rude and incompetent it was unbelievable. I had to repeat my order 4 times and after I paid she handed the bag to me and then shut the window. I thought she went to get part of my order so I waited in the drive thru and after a few minutes she opened the window and said YES? I said I was waiting for the rest of my food and she answered it's all in the bag! I told her that was rude and I had no idea I had the entire order! The thing that really didn't sit well is the guys in the back heard her and she didn't have a problem with being rude to customers. I am having some work done at my house so I have been buying the guys lunches, I started going to Dario and took Dixie out of rotation. My suggestion is go there instead.

Terrible service we waited in line for so long for no reason they easily could've asked the people to pull of to the side so we could get our slushies that we had so they wouldn't melt but they didn't so once we got to the window we had melted and slushies and they weren't even made right! Maybe get some adults to work there that know what their knowing not teenagers who don't give a crap!!

Last 2 times I ordered from here, order was wrong. Fries were undercooked. Everything way to greasy. Pathetic

check your food before leaving. simple as a hot dog combo an hamburger order was wrong. a 10 yr old kid could do it.

This place used to be good back in the day. This is the dried up hotdog that's messy and only able to be eaten with a fork.
