Reasonably priced classic diner options with small mountain town feel. Food is all the craveable southern staples (think grits and biscuits and gravy) and service has plenty of southern charm too. You'll find plenty of locals when you visit, but everyone makes you feel right at home.

Went in for breakfast, first time in a while, and was shocked at how expensive it was. We never received the bill, but when we went up to pay, the employee asked if our order (a sausage biscuit, breakfast sampler, iced tea, and coffee) was correct and then let us know the total was $28. I know it's totally my fault for not looking at the menu to see the prices, or for not asking for an itemized check, but I just feel like is ridiculously expensive- even in this economy. The food was good.

While in Hendersonville for a few days, tried the Dixie Diner. It was so good, we ate here twice for breakfast. If you're looking for an outstanding breakfast, this is the place. If you like real country ham, this is definitely the place. Give it a try if you're in the area.

I ate there about a year ago. Thought I would try it again. Still no change. I got 2 eggs, grits, Corn beef hash, biscuit and gravy $14.95. Grits already congealed. Not fully cooks. The hash was so thin that you could see though it. The best part of the meal was the gravy. Guess I'll not be back. AGAIN. Sorry another customer lost.

What a great local option in Laurel Park when you've got a hankering for breakfast or brunch. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very attentive. I had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and it really hit the spot. Great portion sizes too. My boys had pancakes and French toast which were both excellent. No complaints all around. Dixie Diner is right across the street from the Laurel Park Ingles shopping center. A great option if you're looking for something in the area.

Nice country breakfast spot. The food was excellent and the grits were hot and delicious. Biscuit and gravy are very tasty. Service was friendly. They have a breakfast buffet but we didn't try it! Perfect hometown diner worth the stop, thanks !

My husband and I went out for an early Sunday morning breakfast and decided to stop in this cute local diner. I'm sure we were the first customers of the day. It's a cozy, friendly place. We ordered breakfast off the menu. Food and service were great, reasonably priced. Would definitely return anytime we happen to be in the area.
