While visiting Charlotte for a music festival we decided to grab some breakfast on the way and found Dino's to be close to where we were staying. As we entered I noticed it was an older building but the inside had a Greek vibe to it. The food was great and large portions. I had grits, smoked sausage and eggs. I also requested liver mush on the side thin and crispy which they gladly did for me. Our waitress managed our drinks and got our food out in a timely manner. This place is great for a quick southern breakfast. Come hungry because there is plenty of food and everything is reasonably priced!

Love Dinos for breakfast and lunch. I like how they have both options and both are a good choice. I have gone 2 days in a row and tried one each day. It was hard for me to decide if I should get breakfast or lunch because I know both are good. The service is great. All of the staff is very friendly and the food is always fresh. This is a great choice to enjoy your meal at. Prices and good you can't beat!Check it out!!!

Super good! Only Sunflower Restaurant on Statesville is better. Portions are big some make sure your appetite fits or you're going home with some leftovers. Here's a few winners;Spanish omelette PancakesHash brownsGritsSmoked sausageService is friendly and fast but nothing compares to the service level at Sunflower. They do have some tables for larger parties and plenty of parking. Just be careful of all the construction going on. Seems like it's been going on forever lol. I'll be a regular...

I can not believe as a Charlotte native this is my first time going here. It was so so good and prices just right. Service was very friendly. Ordered the food and I barely seemed to have time to look at my phone and it was out at my table. And it came out piping hot and fresh so definitely was no question on that. I will most certainly be back.

My lady and I always drive by this place and one Sunday morning we were feeling adventurous so we finally decided to give this place a shot. Stunned at the value to food quality ratio here. This place punches well above its weight class. My lady was in the mood for a burger while I was in for a Philly Cheese Steak. Both were pretty good. My surprise at how good the food actually was is relative to its outdoor appearances. This place from the outside looks way smaller from the street. Once you head inside it's actually pretty well cared for and staff are friendly. Place was good enough that we came back about a week later to try their breakfast. I was amazed that this is one of the few places I've been to that know how to cook up crispy hash browns correctly. International House of Pancakes doesn't even managed to do hash browns correctly and their cooks at Dino's diner actually surprised me with their higher attention to their food. I give this place five stars for the value, service and food quality relative to its price. No - it is not five-star dining establishment, but it is absolutely worthy of a five-star review because they manage to do what they do under a terribly difficult economic environment for all restaurants (pandemic) and at a price that is considerably better than most restaurants are charging.

in town for some essential service and needed to put a feed on, this place is supposed to be whirlable so here I am :-) first impression is that the structure seems in good repair and developing a patina of sorts. Not real clear on wait -vs- seat yerself but I figured it out OK except the busser seems to have taken the day off!? so my table was cleansed right before my eyes which is mostly fine by me. asked for iced waters, straight black coffee, and the lunch special while it dried.Country Fried Steak comes with two sides and bread. Chopped steak is lightly breaded and done well; fully cooked tender insides with crispy outsides served on a bed of white rice under a dark brown gravy. yea! pintos come al dente with an option for minced onions, yea onions! potato salad is a lovely pale yellow with large potato bits and a delightful hint of fancy mustard. corn muffins are a little doughy but way corny and sweet so we won't complain (much) should have put a dab of jelly on and called it dessert.all in all a nice no-monkey-business lunch spot for the people taking care of the circus. the decorations and furniture have some miles on 'em but everything except the plague-practices encourage a person to sit a spell.

New breakfast spot!! I ride by this place all the time but I have never stopped. My friend and I wanted some breakfast and wanted to try somewhere new. This place came up so I said let's go! Very much a family owned business feel. It was more packed than I thought it would be which let me know it was going to be good! Our food was so good! Our waitress was busy but still very attentive. My friend and I said we would definitely be back and I know where to suggest to others if they want a good breakfast that's not a chain(much appreciated)

First time here and it's my last...got hamburger steak with onions and gravy. It was fair at best, the cabbage was decent, the fried squash was awful and damn sure not close to fresh as they advertise. The corn muffins were like rubber. No I didn't complain, but I sure expected better from this place. McDonalds would be a better choice especially since lunch was $14.26 which includes a $2.00 tip
