Dennis Vineyards

Absolutely loved this winery! They have a decent sized tasting room and the service was phenomenal. They allowed us to try 6 wines for free and it was difficult to choose! We ended up buying three bottles. Tons of seating outside and such a beautiful atmosphere to enjoy a few drinks !

We came to Dennis Vineyards this weekend on the way home from the beach to Charlotte. The property is beautiful - great open indoor space and covered patio space - plus all the vines across the street.We chose to do 3 wine flights - which comes with 4 different wines of your choosing.Sweet Wines (8) - They have some good sweet wines! The ones that I really enjoyed were Summer Sangria, Summer Breeze, Carlos Sweet (my husband really liked this one), Spring, and Beachy Blush. Fruit Wines (4) - we didn't really care for their fruit wines, they were just okay, except for the blackberry, didn't really care for that one at all.We really enjoyed our flights and look forward to coming back. Will have to try their slushies next time! Definitely recommend Dennis if you are in the area.

Delicious slushies! They have a large variety of wine to pick from. They do offer tastings as well. Prices are very reasonable and they discount the more you buy which is easy to do since they have so many to choose from . They have some seating inside but lots more seating outside. There is a large pavilion area and a patio, creating plenty of seating and space with views of the vineyard. Go visit, sit outside with your slushie and relax before heading home to drink the wine you purchased!

I visited this place for a wedding and it was beautiful. The event space was a wonderful surprise for 50+ guest. It's a bit of a distance from Uptown, but the serenity of it all is well worth a mini drive after brunch. They also host bridal shows and other events, so check their website frequently. I'll be back with friends for sure!

I was happy with the service i received at Dennis Vineyards. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was very tasty. My favorites were the strawberry and the white Christmas. We walked across the street to the venue and admired the breathtaking view of the rolling hills and grapevines. Next time I'm in the area I'll be stopping by again.

Short Review: This is our favorite winery. We like everything we have ever tired there, which we can't say about any of the other many wineries we have visited. Also, true fruit wine. (Not grape wine infused with another fruit flavor, but wine actually made 100% from other fruit)My wife and I discovered the family run Dennis Vineyards somewhat unintentionally. We were actually headed to a different winery that day, but it turned out to be closed. As did most of the others in the area. Dennis, however, has a tendency to be open when no other wineries are. If not for that, we may never have visited it, as it is a ways away. We are certainly great full we did, though. We immediately fell in love, and now drive there every chance we get. We make sure to always have bottles of their wine in our home, and even though we've sampled each wine they have multiple times over, we still do a tasting every time. The tastings are generous, the prices are great, the people are wonderful. Oh, and definitely try the fruit wine.

If you like sweet wines and warm NC hospitality, stop by Dennis Vineyards! We decided to stop by after we toured Stony Mountain mainly because we were so close. One of the owners (Amy, I believe) greeted us right away and was just so nice! Our plan was just to stop in and look around, but we decided to partake in the cheap as can be (or even free) wine tasting! It's free for 6 wines in a plastic tasting cup, or $3 for a tasting in a glass you get to keep. You get to pick any 6 from their huge wine list and she customizes a tasting just for you!Amy was so nice she even threw in a bonus for us to taste - along with the story behind the wine! A sweet port-style dessert wine made with bing cherries (Fire). And some chocolate chips to taste it with! Now, unfortunately, these wines were not my taste - they were quite sweet. But we did end up purchasing the Deuces Wild and a bottle of the Cabernet - because, hey, it was Small Business Saturday after all!Even though the wines were sweeter than I am, I'm glad we stopped in and would recommend you give them a try. Especially considering it's free, how can you say no?

Cannot express how lovely our time was visiting this vineyard. We had a party of four and went ahead with the try 6 wines options. The staff was very hospitable and so kind when asking questions and very knowledgeable. Any wine tasting you do they give you a small glass you get to keep as a souvenir which was a pleasant surprise. The tasting is done inside and then after you can sit outside on the patio area with great views and comfortable seating. If you a have a couple of hours to spend here you could easily do the 10 tasting but 6 was plenty for us since we had about an hour or 2. They do sell of their wines for a fair price, (6-20) a bottle. Their store has snacks and trinkets you can purchase as well. We really did have fun and enjoyed our time here. Don't forget to try the wine slushy!

I don't drink often but when I do, this is my go to place. Most wine gives me nasty headaches but not their wine.
