Delights Ramen And Steak

Ramen was excellent. Owners soon kept us entertained. Several draft options including a tall I.P.A. We will definitely go back!

The highlight of our meal was the Kani Cream Cheese Tempura and Ribeye Steak. The tempura was light and airy. The steak was well seasoned perfect with their house garlic sauce. Food came quick. And our server Ashley was patient and attentive. The Ramen broth was decent and glad that they weren't over salted. We were most disappointed by the meat ratio in the Mr. Bun and the shumai wasn't all that memorable. Inside, the place looks similar as the previous business. The decor doesn't yet match the food. But really grateful for clean and private bathrooms.

Authentic ramen. A shocker for Albemarle. Owner has a background in high end steakhouses as well, so the meats and all of their ingredients are top notch. A bit pricey for some locals but not skimping on quality really shows. Fantastic food highly recommended. Full bar and friendly service.

Food and service were ok, but I am not sure the price matched the amount of food. My daughter and I ate there, she got a few pieces of chicken, sauce, and noodles and I got the NY strip. Including two sodas and the tip, almost $65. I consider this a little pricey when we didn't go away stuffed or with a carry out box. I would probably not even have commented on this if it had not been for the tea I initially ordered. I asked the waitress if they made tea daily, her answer was no, but they made it every few days. The iced tea was borderline sour. Restaurant owners should pour that old crap out and start over - EVERY DAY. This is the South people! Good tea can make or break a restaurant. It's relatively cheap to make, and trying to cut corners here is a deal breaker. Normally it's the unsweet tea that is old, and that ruins the half and half. Unsweet tea is so cheap to make! I doubt I will go back unless this practice is changed.

So happy I don't have to drive to Charlotte for ramen anymore! This place is a great addition to Albemarle. Everything we had was delicious and the service was excellent! Abigail and her side kick were fantastic and attentive. Definitely recommend to anyone and if you've never tried ramen before this place is a great start!

This is the only place I know of in Albemarle that sells Ramen. My girls love the GYU Niku Ramen. The Service is great. The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering along with pronouncing the name of the food. The service along with great tasting food makes this establishment great.

They just opened up recently and I am very pleased. The place is clean but needs some decorations. Since I wasn't there for the decor let me get to the food. To start we had the salted Edamame whihc was flavorful and perfectly salted. I had the Crab Cakes and Shrimp and my husband had the Crab Cakes and Lobster Tail. The crab cakes were very flavorful and moist and the and Lobster Tail was well cooked. For desert we shared the NY Cheescake which was as good as any NY Cheesecake I've had in some of the nicest NYC restaurants. We will be back - next time I try the Ramen!
