Delicacy Chinese Bistro

I eat a lot of Chinese dishes and on my recent visit to Rock Hill, SC I got a hunkering for some. I stay at the Courtyard by Marriott and one of the employees gave Delicacy Chinese Bistro a good recommendation. Although the interior is somewhat basic, the service (Ian) is excellent and so is the food. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken extra spicy. The dish came out and looked gorgeous. I wish I would have taken a picture before I started eating. They make the best Kung Pao Chicken I've ever had. Great experience.

Still number1!!! Great CHINESE CUISINE and service.. Ask for them to make the Baby Bok Choy with mushrooms and add chicken .. soo tender and delicious.

This is a fascinating place. It's sort of in a strip mall so zero issue with parking. It's clearly a family owned restaurant which I can really appreciate in a world full of chinese restaurants that all look, feel and taste alike. The service was amazing- super fast, piping hot food, friendly server, HUGE portions of food. The value is undeniable for this place. They do ask that you pay with cash if you can, helps them and it's good for all of us to be in the habit. There are lots of helpful and informative signs everywhere. THEY ARE CLOSED ON MONDAYS. I must have seen three signs that said that, must be an issue or a complaint that ppl don't know their day of rest. All that to say, everything was really clean, well maintained, and felt cared about. They have a couple of different table options from booths to family style tables. I think the thing I liked about the family style space is that it was sectioned off partially so it felt like eating dinner with your family at home. We enjoyed our food! I had orange chicken and the SO had general tsoa. So much food! We both had to take boxes. It was so good though!!! Our server never stopped having a smile on his face, it was really refreshing. Would 100% be back if in the rock hill area again.

Crispy scallion chicken is amazing! Serving size is so generous; one take-out order gave me 3 meals.

I ordered takeout the other day.I usually take pictures of my food, but I didn't this time.It was my first time ordering food from here. It was OK.I ordered steamed dumplings.. they were small, the dough was fresh & soft. Steamed to perfection & the ginger sauce was good.Then ordered Triple Delight....consisted mostly broccoli, very little meat (major disappointment, lots of brown sauce and 2 large shrimp.The man at the counter asked me what kind of rice I wanted. I chose "fried rice". First time I received "fried rice" that was white rice with lots of soy sauce, not "fried" and only 1 spec of scrambled egg that probably was a mistake to be added to the rice.Wasn't asked what condiments I desired. I forgot to ask since I was so tired from work. 2 packets of soy sauce were added to my order. Not 1 Fortune cookie.I won't be going back.

Traveling home to CT, we spent the night in Rock Hill, SC Decided to try the local Chinese cuisine and found our way to the " Delicacy Chinese Bistro ". The ambience was typical strip mall design, nothing fancy, but clean, neutrally appointed, roomy with functional modern furniture. Service was exceptional, timely, patient with numerous checks to ensure our experience and food was perfect. The menu was expansive and reasonably priced. The food was amazing in preparation, presentation and temperature Food included some of the best egg rolls we've had; delicious wonton soup. Entrees included wonderfully aromatic and tasty General Tso's chicken and Mongolian Beef. Both served with vegetable fried rice, which was delicious. Packed up the leftovers and need a plan for devouring them later.

So today I decided to take myself to lunch I came across this place and to my surprise it had some what nice reviews so why not right. Upon entering into the restaurant it was about 2 other guest in front of me and the place seemed to be a bit busy. However there was still seating available. They seated the 2 people in front of me but when it was my turn he host told me that I had to wait. I'm not sure why I would have had to wait seeing that there was still tables. He told me that those tables "weren't for seating"Which confused me because if they're not for seating why are they there. A couple came in behind me and he say them RIGHT DOWN !! At the same tables that "Weren't for sitting" now I am a black woman and honestly the only black person inside. I wonder why my money wasn't good enough to take I've attached photos for reference.

This is our go-to for Chinese food. Great food and even better service! Reasonable prices and awesome portions. Have been coming for years and it is better now than even before. So thankful for this place!!

I was immediately impressed with how clean the place was. And the waiter was the nicest guy ever and really took care of my family. The food was on par standard chinese food. I will go back

Simply amazing in every level. Best Chinese food I have had in surrounding areas and the service is unmatched. The waiter remembered us after the first visit and catered to what he knew we liked. Must try if you like Chinese.
