I don't know if should share or not because they run out of meatloaf, but this is the best meatloaf I have had in NC. And no heartburn, that makes it even better. Meatloaf is Fridays only.

I love this little local restaurant. Been trying to stop by more lately to help the locals since the dine in restrictions. Best breakfast hands down, just not the pancakes. You can taste the freshness of the hand made burgers! Give it a try, I've stopped twice this week.

I want to love it because it is a little local hole in the wall place that has been here my whole life but I have just never been able to love it. My Daddy, that's another story he loves it, he'd eat there every day if he could.I usually get a foot long hot dog which is my favorite food and theirs is just okay, not my favorite place to get one from, good only in a pinch. They do have good tea and tater tots. I've had their bbq sandwiches and while good, they are not at the level of College BBQ across town, that's a whole other ballgame there. I did try a cheeseburger and it was just ground chuck and kinda tasted like an actual chuck, it was dry, bland, either none or little seasoning and not something I would ever eat again. This is what happens when I try to venture out of my hotdog mind set and try something different, I don't usually like it. They do have wonderful sounding specials when they are open and it does still draw a big crowd so be prepared for that if you go at peak times. It is a small place with the old kind of booths that are hard to get into if you weigh more than 150 pounds, they are the kind you kind slide the table or seats and its hard to be comfortable in them. Parking out front is easy to get into, hard to get out of as you have to back out of every spot back into the road, if the drive thru window is backed up, you aint going anywhere. I would suggest parking around back and walking or park on the front row next to the street and just drive over the sidewalk back on to the road. Lots of times we don't go simply because of the parking situation. There was a restaurant recently in Rockwell that closed up and I was hoping they would move into it but they didn't so here we are...

Well, they serve BBQ, and a Chili Dog, and I was going by, so you know I'm going to stop in. Some visits are diamonds, some visits are coal - this one went pretty deep down the mine shaft with no canaries singing.This is a small, very plain, scrunched up place - everything seemed miniaturized, from the tiny booths to the displays of toy NASCAR cars on the walls. The bathroom facilities are outside, at the back of the building.The BBQ Sandwich nicely sized, more pulled than chopped, and while it was tender, it had very little taste, and was dry. The pork is not sauced out of the kitchen, accounting for most of the dryness, but even adding some of the small cup of sauce didn't help much - there was no freshness or sharpness to the taste. Very, very ordinary BBQ.The Chili Dog looked good - chili was meaty, with nice color, but the taste was mostly sweet, no spice to it. I'll pass on by next time, once was enough.

Food pretty good , reminds me of the old days hot dog , hamburger place but that's not the whole story here ! Lunch and breakfast are the game in this locally owned business. Drive thru also helps serve customers ! Staff actually nice to talk to not just there for the tips.

Great food, good service, and you get an opportunity to talk to your neighbors while you're having dinner!

Awesome food and great people. Inside now has a shine it's so clean and the BBQ and flounder is great.

The food was good. Although they were out of what I wanted. But the place was so cold. We had to move to another table. It was a little better. Everyone in there was cold.

The last I went was the last time I spent the day with my Aunt Linda, she passed away due to cancer just a few months later. But what we had was sooo good. We shared our hotdogs, cheeseburgers and French fries together. It made it that much more special for meI've been eating from there for over 30 years, great food and very cozy!

Food is very plain got a burger and some fries wasn't the best bun was hard as a rock but I was hungry so I ate it go to McDonald's better option
