Daddy Joe's Beach House BBQ and Grill

My daughter and my youngest grandson and I had lunch here today. How do you spell PERFECT? Easy! As our experience here was just that! Although the restaurant was crowded as usual, we got seated promptly. A high chair was provided for my grandson. I had a combination platter of wings and ribs and double fries along with complimentary hush puppies! I was completely in another world as I dined. This was the absolutely best meal that I can remember! I'm not even positive what my daughter ordered. Everything went smoothly and couldn't have been more perfect! Daddy Joe's Beach House BBQ just keeps getting better and better! Count me as one of the faithful here!

Pretty good barbecue restaurant. The food and service are good here. The prices are similar to other local barbecue restaurants, but I wish the portions were larger.

We were on a tour through South Carolina and our tour guide included this stop as an example of Carolina BBQ. The first thing we noticed is that even though we arrived before 11:30 it was very busy and was packed by the time we left. My wife had fried fish and thought it was good. I had a combo of ribs and BBQ. The ribs were excellent. They were dry rub prepared and the rub had formed a crust during cooking that really made them stand out. I didn't care so much for the BBQ pork, even though it's their signature dish. It seemed a little mushy and fatty to me. I'm not used to Carolina vinegar sauce and didn't like it much. The BBQ beans were good. I really liked the hush puppies, they were cooked perfectly. I think some come with every meal. I ordered extra as my second side and having that many was too much.

First time and service was great ~ our waiter Bobby had a great sense of humor and took care of us explaining the menu! We had pulled chicken with salad and slaw. Everything was excellent ~ we will return soon with the whole family.

Looking for some good BBQ in Gaffney? You should check out Daddy Joe's!!!They have.a huge selection on their menu and even have a Skinny Menu with some of the best grilled zucchini that I have ever had. The service was stellar!! Fast and reliable!! This place has a great seating selection as well. You can eat at the bar, inside or outside, they really seem to have something for everyone!!I will be back!!! Too many things I want to try on the menu.

Service is polite and quick. We got fried zucchini and chips for appetizers. The chip are very good. Zucchini was bland. I had the ribs and wing plate. Husband had calabash chicken and rib plate.They fell off the bone, heavier smoke than I usually like but they are very good. Chicken and wing very good. Hand squeeze lemonade was delicious.

Cool atmosphere inside and the outside had a fun beach vibe with laid back music playing. We had to wait but it wasn't long at all. The gentlemen we had as a waiter was nice, but he was given a large table and ended up not coming back to check on us. We had to end up asking another server to get our refills and ticket. The food was good. Prices are really good. We will try it again in the future.

I was in Gaffney Christmas shopping. Looking for a place for dinner, Yelp showed Daddy Joe's with many favorable reviews. Although the decor is odd and hard to tell the type of restaurant, I was very surprised with the outcome. The bartender recommended the 10 Oz ribeye plate. To my surprise, the ribeye was amazing! The baked potato was huge. Along with a couple of cold beers, I had a great first time dining experience.

This was our first visit to Daddy Joe's Beach House, and it was absolutely wonderful! Our server, Bobby, made us feel right at home and guided us through the menu, helping us select a delicious spread of barbecue chicken, ribs, and shrimp. The sides and sauces were excellent, too!They also serve ice-cold Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap (many others too):and some seriously good iced tea. The atmosphere is laid-back and casual, perfect for a relaxing meal. If you're ever in Gaffney, be sure to make this a stop on your trip. Highly recommend!

We were tired from traveling and stopped here. Do NOT let the road front appearance dissuade you from stopping! This is a FABULOUS place. The food is fresh, hot and plentiful. Inflation has not hit Daddy Joe's yet. The wait staff were ever on the ready and so gracious, like they actually liked their jobs.
