Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ

Today I happened upon a Crave Hot Dogs and Beer. They have a vast menu with a ton of options. My friend and I stopped in for a snack. We got a chili cheese dog with fries. They both were tasty. The hot dog was big and juicy and well dressed. They air fry all their traditionally fried. That's probably my only complaint. I prefer fried food to be fried in oil, but that's my preference. We also tried the brisket and pulled chicken (sorry I forgot to take a picture). They were also good. Everything was served hot and fresh. I'm a condiment girl and they have five bbq sauces: Original, Mississippi, Kansas, Memphis, and Sweet and Tangy. We actually liked all of them between the two of us. Here are a few more highlights and reasons for you to stop in and check them out. 1. Plenty of parking including a ramp for accessibility. 2. They have Ax Throwing. It's not traditional axe throwing, they use a screen. They also have other fun games including Tic-Tac-Toe and a Candy Crush like game. It's also affordable. It was $10 per person/hr. We stopped in on a Monday afternoon before 5:00pm. 3. They have a few fun things on their menu including corn nuggets, fried pickles, pineapple upside down cake, and a sampler where you can try a little bit of everything. 4. The staff (Ron and Shawn) was very friendly and thoroughly explained the menu. They also chatted with us since they were not too busy and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our meal. 5. They have over 20 taps with a variety of beer. They also have beer specials during football season. Stop in and visit Crave for a taste of Carolina and a little family fun.

It's definitely a family bbq place. Different options menu is massive, the staff is friendly. Honestly, just come here for the hotdogs. Don't order the Mac if you are very peculiar about your Mac. Just . Dont. There's tvs and community seating for maybe one or two mid sized families. So that's good. You can watch the game. I guess.

Walked in for the first time and immediately felt like family. The staff was amazing. Super friendly and extremely helpful. Food came out really quickly and hot. I ordered the slaw dog and the Mac and cheese dog and both were simply amazing. I also had an ode of baked fries that went well with the bbq sauce I splattered all over them. I didn't get any beer, but they have a beer wall... let that sink in! The also have an area where you can toss an axe. The gentleman showed my and my fiancé how to throw the axe and we had a ball. They also have multiple tv's with all kinds of sports being shown. This is a great spot to come and just hang out for a few hours. I will definitely be back!!!

Quiet Sunday afternoon for a little family ax throwing and giant pretzels Friendly service.

Amazing service, the staff is very cordial and fun. What a fun place to hang with friends or on a date.The noms are fair pricing too, deff a good guilty pleasure place - pretzel and beer cheese: pleasantly surprised because it's soft and not dried at all. And the beer cheese makes it extra savory - corn nuggets are bomb - must order - corn bread: soooo fluffyyyyy must order - hot dog: like their selections-brisket Mac: can skip or order the Mac on the side. They bring back that nostalgic old school American style mac and cheese from your childhoodThey also have rotating local beer on tap that you can order a pint or do it yourself

Nice place, I think it's a franchise. Ordered a Chicago dog and a Classic bratwurst. The Chicago dog arrived without any sport peppers and barely any green relish so that was a big minus. The bratwurst could have used a bit more sauerkraut. The big markdown here was the buns. Neither bun was fresh, in fact I would guess they were at least a day old. How do I know? They both partially disintegrated when I picked up them up. Nice folks, clean and I'd go back to see if things are better the second time around.

Food: was made to order, the brisket melted in my mouth and the flavors went well togetherService: was on point, the cashier/waitress was helpful and answered all our questions since it was our first time.Ambiance: its a sports bar but better. They have AX throwing, so that made the ambiance even better. Great place to visit. Well definitely return

Being a lover of hot dogs and sausages, I had to try this place out when I was in Charlotte. I was surprised to see that the menu has a lot more than hotdogs on it. They also have pulled pork, ribs, and meat filled Mac n Cheese to name a few items. I wasn't able to try the exact dish I came in for, but I had no issue finding some alternawhich turned out to be quite good. I will definitely be back

I wanted very badly to have a better updated review as the restaurant has been great they reached out to me they sent me a coupon to try them again through Postmates and today I did just that BUT it did not go as hoped. Chili dog was good cheese put on last minute and mustard drizzled on top of cheese made a mess but a good dog.I ordered baked beans and corn and received two baked beans which I would have been ok with had they looked good but alas they looked well not appetizing and the packaging was terrible. (See photos) I had ordered a corn and was hoping to get that and did not. My loaded tator tots are always good but guys if you do not fully bake or fry your tots they get so SOGGY under all that product on top and breakdown. Why would you put super liquid beans in cardboard mini boats and a clear clamshell container? How about some better containers for food to look better stay hot and preserved.No utensils napkins nothing just a bunch of stuff tossed in a bag and not even correct. I'm still sitting here at the restaurant as I'm typing this because I am so annoyed and actually infuriated. The Diet Coke was out, the Coke Zero was out. They were out of sweet potato tots. I asked for the dynamic duo which is a chili cheese dog and an Italian sausage. What did I get? I got an Italian sausage and then a chili cheese Italian sausage. In what world does that make sense? For $23, this was some of the worst money I've spent on a meal in a very long time. I should've taken the emptiness during lunch as a sign
