Craft Tasting Room and Growler Shop

One of my favorite bars in Charlotte is this place right here! Southend is continuously growing and changing, but Craft Tasting Room has remained a constant presence. The staff is always super friendly and helpful when selecting a beer from their vast and ever changing tap list. They serve up wonderful cheese board and flatbread pizzas. On a nice day it's hard to beat their outdoor patio. I have many great memories here including movie nights outside during the summer. They consistently have a varied and impressive tap list of all different styles of beer from local crafts, to rarer hard to find ales, there is usually something for everyone, but despite all this it still feels like a cozy neighborhood hole in the wall. For my money I think this is the best bar for beer lovers in the city.

Loved the ambiance and the prices. Their daily specials are amazing. The half and half cheese board is ok. I'd reccomend getting the all cheese board!

Went by for a HH last night and they had $8.50 flights with 7 ounce pours! So awesome. And the bartender was very friendly and helpful. Great, casual vibe for after work drinks!

Very laid back and awesome customer service. The customers are friendly and the females are beautiful. Especially a cook they have e hidden lol. I would recommend this place to to anyone who is hanging with a friend wanting a drink to relax and wanting a great time.

My husband and I visited this place for a mystery picnic that we were going on and this was our first stop. We had the charcuterie board and one of the cocktails which both were amazing. After eating this charcuterie board it reminded me how much I actually love them and should order them more often. I definitely like to come back and try more options.

Don't go! (that way it won't be crowded when I want to go)We came on a Friday night and found this place to be a great place to relax, chill and enjoy an awesome menu of beer options. What we didn't expect was the great food to go along with it!The rotating beer options is clearly the big draw....I was like a kid in a candy store. Super friendly people offering samples of anything you wanted to try before you commit.The food menu was narrow.....but we decided to try it out anyway. We ordered the Half & Half charcuterie board with fruit & nuts ($9) and it was a great presentation and we loved all of the items. My bride went with the Margarita Flatbread ($7) and enjoyed it. I went with the Prosciutto Flat Bread and it was fantastic!Service from the entire staff was so warm and hospitable!

I love this place, it's a great spot to grab a couple drinks & light bites before a panthers or Charlotte fc game. The charcuterie board was the perfect snack and actually really filling. The draft cocktails are STUHHRRRONGG. And I'm not complaining lol I had the strawberry mint julep special and I was one & done! If you're around on Wednesdays, I'd recommend visiting for half off charcuterie boards. The restaurant attached, Lincoln Street, is a great spot, too, with an awesome rooftop. Highly recommend both spots for light bites and delicious drinks. Their bev director, Amanda, is top tier!

Craft tasting room- exactly what it sounds like.Tons of craft beers on draft. And when I say tons, I mean TONS.If you like sours, pale ale, ipas, etc, there is something for.They also have Prosecco on draft of beer isn't really your thing. But to note, there is bottle of wines to buy, but there isn't any other type of wine cold/ready to enjoy other than the Prosecco on tap.If you go on Wednesday's, they have 6 dollar meat and cheese boards - pictured below. It is a decent amount of food for 12 dollars total. There is four cheeses typically in circulation and if you get the cheese board, you can pick which two cheese types you would like. I have not eaten any of the other food here yet, but I would definitely be interested in trying other items from the menu. There is plenty of indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating. On the patio, there is fire pits. I have not yet seen them lit, but I'm sure they light them when necessary with weather. Definitely a nice place to go grab a drink/casual date night, etc.

AMAZING Cheeseboard!!! The "Roasted Red Pepper & Cracked Peppercorn - Cheddar Gruyere" cheese was AMAZING! Great selection of beer, the stouts and porter were perfectly strong and bitter customer service was great and fast. I definitely recommend.

Great elevated American food, loved the custom drinks. Good service. A great place to enjoy with friends and family. Can be a nice or casual dinner out.
