Cowbell Burger & Whiskey Bar

This as a great place in uptown convenient location to many events. We loved walking here after a play. There was a nice vibe. We had a short wait, and the bar was also a good place to sit if the tables were full. Many burger options and I loved all the options of the bread as well. I got the pretzel bun and it was delicious. The Parmesan fries were tasty, and not too overpowering.

Good burger but get this! They charged EXTRA FOR AN ICE CUBE. I asked the sever about and she explained that they " make it themselves by hand " You've got to be kidding. Go for the food , don't order a cocktail - oh , I forgot to say that the Manhattan was $23 - three bucks for the ice. Order the drink up ... not on the rocks

The food was amazing! This will be my go to spot when seeing shows at Blumenthal. The burger and fries were absolutely spectacular.

Bar and Burgers I loved the decor here it's unique and contemporary. The lil smokies were surprisingly really delicious loved the sweet potato batter. The Lisa Marie burger was good too. Our waitress was great she knew the menu and very knowledgeable about cowbell.

Cowbell Burger and Whiskey Bar:Hit up this spot in uptown Charlotte and went all in on the "Big Bell." It's got two smash-style beef patties, Cowbell sauce, lettuce, American cheese, red onions, and pickles. Sounds like a heavyweight, right? Well, turns out it's more featherweight. Those "double" patties are seasoned like a dream but are smaller than you'd expect--kind of like when you think you're getting a blockbuster movie, and it ends up being an indie short film.The bun doesn't steal the spotlight, which is great because it works well with the smaller patties. The cheese? It's like that reliable backup singer who makes the main act shine--smooth and just the right touch.Overall, it's a tasty burger that's worth a try. I give it a solid "40 minutes"--as in, that's about how far I'd drive for it.

The name tells you exactly what they offer, and boy howdy does Cowbell knock it out of the park for burgers. If you stop reading here, just know you'll get a great burger meal.We came around 9pm on a Friday night, and were surprised to have no wait and get seated immediately. This is a very swanky establishment with 1920's vibes and dim lighting, though it's fairly loud inside. Being near Uptown and the Spectrum Center, it's understandably difficult to find weekend parking, but we found a spot in a parking deck a reasonable distance away.We started with drinks, including a Croce whiskey cocktail made with Four Roses which was on special, and a Paradise City Coconut Margarita. Both were served quickly, tasted great, and priced on par with the market. They have what appears to be an extensive whiskey selection, and while I was tempted to request that menu and order a glass of something special, I didn't. There is an old picture of the whiskey menu on Yelp and it seems the prices per glass are pretty high.The menu is extensive, and highly customizable. We had an extremely friendly and helpful waitress who helped us navigate indecision and help to customize our meals. My wife had the Smash Hit burger, with the patty substituted to a turkey burger, and this was one of the best turkey burgers I've ever had. Flavorful, juicy, and very far from the dry and bland things I've come to expect for turkey burgers.I had the ultimate cheeseburger, which is likewise delicious. The parmesan fries were pretty good, but the real winner was the sweet potato tots with a dusting of brown sugar, and I 100% would recommend them as the side dish!As tasty as the appetizers looked, I'm glad we didn't order any, because the main dishes were very filling. We both brought home part of a burger, and they were just as good the next day.I've saved Cowbell Burger & Whiskey Bar to my favorites, and I can't wait to come back!

We checked out this cool hamburger and whiskey bar while in Charlotte for the weekend, and it was awesome!The cheeseburgers were on point--juicy, packed with flavor, and loaded with toppings. The salmon wrap was just as flavorful and a good option for non-meat eaters. The whiskey selection was solid too, with something for everyone, whether you're just starting out or know your stuffThe vibe was chill and perfect for a laid-back family night. Definitely a spot we'd hit up again next time we're in town!

Best burger in the city! I've been here multiple times and the service is always fast. The quality of the food is always great too. The restaurant has a cool vibe as well

The meat patty was delicious! Cooked well. Really liked the fries too. There is a kids menu. It's a big place but I bet it gets packed at night!!The Sinatra was a whole meal. Very heavy. I didn't really taste the ham or pesto. Lots of good looking choices for appetizers and burgers. The service was good! She kept on top of everything. I'd go back

This place had a low rumble of conversation. The music was on point. Definitely not a quiet place if you're looking for one. The decor is very cool. Dimly lit and the lighting under the bar was pretty cool. Our server was very nice. Her name started with an M. The raspberry mule I ordered was on point. Not too sweet. I ordered the bruiser burger and it was a 9/10. I haven't had a juicy burger like this in a while. It was messy but all Good burgers are. Don't skip out on the Parmesan fries. Crispness at its finest. Will be back for sure.
