Country Barbeque

My husband and I ate here last night. The barbecue is delicious. Actually, everything was delicious, the hotdog, fries, coleslaw, hushpuppies and tea. Our waitress was very friendly as well. Stop by and give it a try.

I have no idea how I've lived in this city for so long and have not yet tried Country Barbecue. But I must confess I now have an addiction. A pork tenderloin biscuit addiction. This was perhaps THE most delicious biscuit I've ever had. The tenderloin is tender and juicy, the biscuit is fluffy, add egg and cheese then dip in their delicious barbecue sauce for even more of a heavenly flavor explosion. I also loved their hashbrowns. Everything was super fresh, too. The service was so quick that our order was ready before we even got to our seats! It was extremely clean inside, and while dated, you can definitely tell just by looking at this place that they know what they're doing. I love that they have a drive-thru, making my fix a quick and easy one. Can't wait to be back!

After having multiple people recommend Country BBQ I finally decided to try it. I must say it was very delicious! I went for breakfast and ordered a tenderloin biscuit with cheese. It was good! The meat was very flavorful, perfectly cooked, and moist. The biscuit was also huge so come hungry. The restaurant it self was decorated in your typical "BBQ" decor which to me means great food. The lady who took my order was very nice and recommended I add cheese to the biscuit. Which I must say was a great choice! Overall I definitely recommend Country BBQ for a delicious biscuit. I definitely plan to come back and try some of the other items on the menu.

The food and service were top shelf. Thank you guys for making the end of the evening a great one. Please keep up the great work. Don't see this to often since Covid. Didn't even have to add any sauce to the BBQ or chicken. I recommend this establishment to anyone that has a craving for some good ole country BBQ.

Only had one thing off the menu (so far) and I'm giving this place five stars! I got the tenderloin biscuit with cheese and it was amazing. The biscuit was delicious and the tenderloin was so juicy and flavorful! It wasn't crazy salty, which was good too. There were a lot of people there and in the drive thru, so you know it's a good place. My husband got it to go, so I don't know about the service but we will be coming back!

Ok, well I have now been here for breakfast and lunch. Hubs was going to get sausage but I told him of the cult following of the tenderloin. It did not disappoint. Lunch is sit and order. Breakfast is order at the counter and take a seat. I was nervous when I saw the line out the door and realized it's different from lunch so don't let the breakfast line scare you away. It moves quickly. Fast, friendly, and hot!

Went there while working out of town. The food was great and you can order it prepared with no bread for those of us watching or carbs

Stopped in for lunch and got the Regular BBQ pork tray with Hushpuppies and slaw . The food was really good the bbq on the table was have definitely had better I did think the portions were a bit small for the price. . Our waitress was very on top of things and got great service. Good place to stop for a quick lunch.

We went in about 6:45pm for hotdogs and it took forever to get waited on. Fine, we weren't in a hurry. However they CHARGED us for WATER! It wasn't but .60 but it's the principle of the matter. Next time I go in, my tip will reflect whatever they charge me for water. I've never paid for water and I don't intend to start now.

Stopped here on the way home at the recommendation of my travel partner who is a Greensboro native. OMG, have not had barbecue this good in years. I ordered the pork platter which came with coleslaw and hush puppies and was beyond wonderful. The only BBQ sauce they served was a hot sauce at the table and it was fantastic. Hush puppies were the best I ever had. I don't even like hush puppies, but I ate all of these, they were fresh and hot and moist.My friend had the chicken platter which came with hush puppies and coleslaw and was excellent. She ate every crumb.Service was excellent. What really made me happy was a homeless guy came in and they set him up and gave him a free meal. I offered twice to pay for it, but the manager wouldn't take my money. What a wonderful thing to do.I just really love this place. I don't think I'd make a trip special from Raleigh just to eat hear, but next time I am in Greensboro for any reason I am definitely stopping here and bringing my whole party too.
