Best little family owned fish camp in the world! Glad to be in the south where fish camps are a delicious find. This one is one you might zip past, don't let that happen..... you should stop and get a wonderful fried experience.Now the service was friendly but this lady worked her mermaid tail off!! She was almost assweet as the sweet tea. Nope, tea was sweetest in the world too. Whew, sweet. Breading on fishes was light and not greasy and you can have plain or salt and pepper breading. Coleslaw was very thin, but good. Lots of locals which is a huge geen flag to go and you should jump on this find.Yummmmy. Tips were to try chicken livers or chicken wings if fish is not your catch of the day.

We dropped in at Cotton's based on the ratings of Yelp users, and in doing so I was reminded of the value of this network -- because otherwise we would have never learned of this place. The restaurant is an old school Carolina fish camp in every respect, starting with its humble exterior appearance. Things don't have to be fancy to be comfortable, and the interior was especially representative of this: good ol' country simplicity. Staff took our orders quickly, though we were a tiny bit disappointed to find out there would be a delay if we wanted baked potatoes with our meals. At least we were told this news up front......and yet our waitress must have sensed our disappointment, because when our dishes arrived she announced that they'd been able to get baked potatoes on our plates after all. This was representative of the service we received throughout our stay, as we were frequently checked on and our wishes accommodated. The entrees amongst our group ranged from crab cakes to boiled shrimp and fried flounder, and everyone was impressed by the quality and quantity of food provided. Again, all the expectations we had of a classic fish camp were met. We did wish they offered pie options for dessert, as choices were limited to cakes. But that was truly our only complaint.If traditional Carolina-style seafood is something you appreciate, if you're near Lincolnton, and if you're around during Cotton's hours of operation, then this place is certainly worth your time. 4.5 stars.

Worst seafood I've ever eaten in my life. Poor Service, rude staff one of the staff members threaten me because I asked to speak to the manager. Very rundown not clean at all. kitchen staff looked very dirty. I am putting a picture on here of the man who threatened me and I will be pressing charges.

LOVE LOVE this place. The food is awesome and so is the staff! the prices are very reasonable ! They also offer curbside pickup.

My wife and I moved to Lincolnton about 6 months ago and first tried Cotton's about 2 months ago. We have been there about 4 times and have to say the seafood is EXCELLENT!Hot, Fresh tasting and most importantly NOT greasy. This quaint little restaurant with EXCELLENT service makes Cotton's our new favorite fish camp.

Great catfish! If you love catfish, they do it right. I ordered some and it took a little while but the fish was fresh and hot when I got it. I highly recommend this restaurant

Pretty good, their new menu item: hot wings pretty decent for the $$. Menu is a bit of everything, not just fish, and their burgers are comparable to more upscale burger places.

Location easy find off main road, plenty of free parking in gravel unpaved lot. Menu items prices are fair with a good selection. Atmosphere inside has a lot of room for improvement. If you don't use cash, expect to pay 3.5%+/- more to cover costs of plastic. I highly recommend to go order

My husband always loved this place. He would always make his doctor appointments in the afternoon so he could stop there and bring food home. It was always great. He loved the fried catfish and I loved the flounder and oysters.

We picked up food and it was great! Shrimp and flounder! Fast hot and delicious! Easy curbside pick up.
