My evening at Corkscrew's was nothing short of exceptional. The old fashioned with tequila mezcal left a lasting impression with its exquisite flavor. Sarah was our bartender who provided impeccable service that enhanced our overall experience. She had suggestions on her over all menu and what spots to check out in Charlotte for new comers in the city. My wife raved about the Count Chocula (chocolate martini), a true indulgence for any dessert cocktail enthusiast.The ambiance was also very chill, complemented by a fantastic selection of music that added to the lively atmosphere. Corkscrew is undoubtedly a gem for those seeking a perfect blend of exceptional drinks, top-notch service, and a captivating environment. Cheers to an unforgettable night!

8.10 the music while nice in theory, totally detracted from the night. Please skip music inside. It's so loud with wonderful table conversations all around us... but with the music we couldn't even talk. So relieved when they ended. Would love them outside though- great band. Drinks are always phenomenal!! Every single one. Get them all! Takes a while, so just come in, sit down and relax. It will all work out.

Great wine. Cute ambiance and seating areas. BUT based on the interactions with the bartenders waiting on us we felt like we were bothering them by being there....Annoyed by questions. Answering awkwardly. Clearing away every dish on the table like they wanted us to leave. I would like to come back, but I don't feel like I'm wanted.....(it was also 3pm during the day - they weren't busy) -they also no longer do flights and tastings are $7-

This place was great, amazing atmosphere and they had live music that was great. The bartenders were all amazing and very talented. A great after dinner spot for drinks and to chill. Highly recommended.

I miss the location at Birkdale but this place is pretty nice for being located in SC. Glad that some of the staff from the NC location works here. Food/drinks are always good.

Stopped in to check out the venue late afternoon on a quiet afternoon. The venue had a relaxing atmosphere with good music. It's not just a place to enjoy wine, there are spirits too. Our server, Michael was friendly and was able to answer our questions. There is spacious outdoor seating. We did not get any food.

Had an absolutely bizarre experience here tonight. Let me preface this by saying after 10 years in the restaurant industry, I almost always tend to side with the staff in situations and give them massive benefit of the doubt.I asked "Employee 1" behind the bar if they had Chartreuse. He informed me they had both yellow and green. I asked if I could have The Last Word, with Amaro Montenegro instead of Luxardo. "Employee 2" started to gather the ingredients behind the bar, but seemed confused and while he asked for help he also seemed to not like being told where things were. Employee 1 who had disappeared into the back comes out with the Green Chartreuse to make me my Last Word. Employee 2 steps in front of him to shield him, says something to employee 1 and employee 1 returns to the back with the Green Chartreuse. Employee 2 now starts mixing my drink but uses Genepy (an alternative liqueur to Chartreuse but would never fool an informed customer). I ask employee 2 if he will be making the cocktail with Chartreuse and he pauses for a moment and then says no, without eye contact. I find this very strange given I wasTold they had Chartreuse, and had just seen it. I told employee 2 that I didn't want it then, and wanted something else. He fed me some story about how they aren't authorized to use Chartreuse. They couldn't have disappointed a more forgiving customer, but also a more knowledge Chartreuse drinker. I was really disappointed and felt like I was being offered a muted experience at this point. Employee 1 came by a few minutes later and apologized on behalf of employee 2. A few minutes after that, employee 2 offered a less than authentic apology and said he would have to go research what their policy was. I asked him point blank if he was withholding it from me because he wanted to sell it on the secondary market. He denied and said they might have been trying to save it. For what...a paying customer...like me??? Absolutely bizarre. My default position is that someone on staff wanted it for themselves, to drink or to resell. I was perfectly happy with the substitute beverage they gave me, and the remainder of the evening was quite nice. The espresso martini and the other cocktails were top notch. I have no idea what to rate this place. Don't offer your customers something then attempt to sleight of hand at the last minute when mixing.

I got lost yesterday and I ended up going to the Corkscrew wine shop and bar. I parked there cause not a lot of parking so I decided why not. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. The ambiance is just beautiful. I felt comfortable there and there was a nice man that helped me pick out a beer. It was good. I had the flat bread pizza and the nice bartenders made sure I had water. They probably knew I don't drink often. Go here it is a nice place with great welcoming folks.

Why are the lights so bright in a place like this? Would be so much better if the lights were turned down to match the vibe.
