Dining at Coquette was an absolute delight. We were captivated by the charming and elegant decor, with an ambiance that transported us straight to France. Every detail, from the lighting to the carefully curated accents, exuded warmth and authenticity. Our server Francesca was incredible, ensuring we had a wonderful experience without ever feeling rushed. The hospitality extended beyond the service. The manager/sommelier themselves (Fabien and Patrick) were present, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about creating an exceptional dining experience. Their hospitality made us feel like honored guests in their home .As for the food--perfection in every bite. Started off with some delicious oysters, then the buttery and flavorful bone marrow, followed by a beautifully prepared rack of lamb paired with smooth garlic mashed potatoes, and perfectly sautéed mushrooms. Another highlight of the evening was discovering Calvados on the menu--a special touch that resonated deeply with me, as it hails from the very region where I grew up. It was a delightful and nostalgic surprise that added an extra layer of magic to the meal. Anyways, I wholeheartedly recommend going Coquette!

As much as this place appealed to me, I've been putting off going here...mainly because of the uptown parking situation. It's just hard to find free parking around this area, and the nearest parking garage costs about $15 on weekends. No matter, I finally chose this place for date night (or delayed V-Day dinner)...and as expected, the place was gorgeous...and a lot more spacious than the way it appeared in photos. We ordered a variety of items... Potato Beignets, Baby Green Beans, Coq au Vin Blanc, Duck Fat Fried Chicken, Almond Croissant, Creme Brulee. Well, I was quite surprised...firstly, of how generous the portions were...and also surprised how absolutely delicious they ALL were!! They were all beautifully presented too. I even loved the cocktail, "Black Rose"....sooo good! My husband and I agreed that we made the right choice for V-Day dinner.Service was great as well. We were seated promptly (via Open Table RSVP) in a nice, big table...and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. So was the management. Everything was on point...which I found especially impressive, since they were so busy on this night.I even loved the overhead music...so much so I hoped it was cranked up a bit more. Everything was so perfectly French and fabulous! Now that I know, I hope to return to try more things on their menu. Maybe for lunch or brunch next time?

Coquette is an absolute gem! As a lover of French food and style, this place checked all the boxes for me. The decor and ambiance are absolutely gorgeous--sophisticated and inviting. The service was top-notch, and the food and cocktails were absolutely delicious.I always Uber when heading into Uptown, so I can't comment on parking, but the location was super easy to get to via rideshare. My friends and I had such a lovely evening, and everything about the experience--from the atmosphere to the cuisine--was flawless.I'd definitely return and highly recommend Coquette to anyone looking for an elegant, French-inspired dining experience!

Was not really impressed to be honest. Everything was just okay. For starters, that tiny breadcrumb of bread was $6. Don't get me wrong, it tasted great, but was it worth $6? Absolutely not! The entrees themselves were not very filling. While there was very memorable flavor in the mussels, it was not enough to captivate me. I really appreciated the bread that came with it, however, it was not enough to soak up the sauce. There were some options to order different things on the side, but none of them seemed to complement the dish. Also, the dish was already $34 on its own. As for the chicken, it was mediocre. Again, not very filling. Not worth the money in my opinion.

I rarely make it downtown for dinner so when a friend suggested we meet them here- I was excited! The entire experience here was fantastic! Everything on the menu is authentic and most of the ingredients truly do come from France. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts salad - the warm egg takes it to the next level! The charcuterie options are all fantastic. The wine selection is exclusive, the flavors are fantastic and the ambiance was lovely. The owners are lovely and we'll be visiting again for a wine class next month!! The owner is a sommelier so I'm very excited.

Came here for a business lunch. We got oysters to share with the table along with oysters. Also got the steak frites as my main. Needed some salt and pepper and maybe a little extra seasoning from my liking but it wasn't the worst I had. Please note this account does not have ketchup so I got a garlic aioli which felt light on the garlic to go with my fries. There were some other menu items that jumped at me but nothing that made me feel like I absolutely have to return. I will say, aesthetically, it takes you to a nice Parisian cafe.

What a treat! Coquette is giving French cafe realness, and the almond croissant and the quiche tell the tale. The hubs and I stopped in for a quick, French treat with coffee and we were not disappointed. The ambiance and decor are fantastic! The service was friendly, and we were in and out in a jiffy. Loved it, mean it.

Thursday lunch at 1pm When you're from nyc , it's bad habit to compare everything to nyc but I'll do it anyway . Think the grand boucherie but on a smaller scale ( charlotte ). The main difference one of the managers is actually french .Winner - charcuterie and cheese board - Comte and the flambee goat cheese , the truffle salami ( my fave ) and the pepperoni like charcuterie - great value ( yes consider to nyc ). Great paired with a glass of blanc de blanc .For a lunch main , I made the mistake of getting a chicken paillard ( not made the usual way , it's more like just plain chicken ), it should be revisited and improved . My client / friend had the fish of the day which she enjoyed . The menu is french typical heavy ( tartines , salads , coq au vin, burger and steak frites ) which I love ! The dessert - crème brûlée was Heavenly . Wines - gamay , Riesling ( too sweet for my taste despite being told it's not ) and Sauvignon blanc .The ambiance is nouveau french but it works .

So I always hate places that are in uptown because I hate the parking situation. Parking is never free so either find something on the street or park in the parking deck. This place is cute. The decor is so pretty. Definitely reminds me of Paris. The vibe is cool and very prestige I would say. The service is good. Very nice people and service. The food was good, the drink was good as well. Such a cute spot. Price is what you pay for that's for sure.

Beautiful dinner spot in Uptown! The food was fabulous. We had the truffle salami and a few cheeses to start which were very delicious. Then we tried the Coquille St. Jacques Gratinée--absolutely fabulous and oh so French. For our entrees we had the Moorish Lamb Chops and the Trout. Both were very flavorful, and we had plenty to take home! We had dessert as well--the Crème Brûlée and the Chocolate Bouchon. Delicious! Overall the food and drinks were excellent. Food was out quick and hot, and our server was very friendly and attentive. My only qualm is the distance between the chairs and tables. I get they might be pushing everyone close together in an effort to make the place feel like a traditional French restaurant or create an intimate atmosphere, but it was TOO intimate for me. It was very difficult to scoot away from the table to get up from my chair. We kept bumping into the people behind us! I didn't love that those sitting next to us could basically hear our conversation the entire time. If you don't mind the closeness of the tables, this is a really great place!
