Cooksville Grill

Loved the food, if you like chicken tenders it's the place for you they have great chicken tenders and fries.the service was amazing would definitely recommend to a friend.if you like country restaurant it's the place for you.

This grill is located in a very sparsely populated area of the county, so choices are limited. I have to compare it to what I know and eat, so 3 stars.This is a nice little spot seemingly in the middle of nowhere that has surprisingly good food. The waitress was kind and efficient. Plenty of parking, too.Our food was decent, but a few things were off or it would have been 4 stars. We started with fried mushrooms and Ranch dressing. The mushrooms were yummy, but the Ranch dressing was from a bottle. Homemade is so simple to make!Our entrees were chicken tenders with onion petals and Calabash shrimp with fries, coleslaw and hushpuppies. The shrimp were ok, not my favorite. They seemed too soft (as in they'd been frozen too long) and the fries were fine. The coleslaw tasted a bit "mildewy" to me, so I only took a tiny taste of that. It was a little off color too, so maybe old. The hushpuppies were good.I doubt we'll go back again. We were in the area for work, but next time will just drive back towards home.

Friendly service. My hamburger steak was dry but edible, my wife's country style steak would be better described as salisbury steak and was not fit to eat. I sampled it too and there isn't much I won't eat, but not this. They knocked $3.00 off. We live 2 miles from the place and this is why we normally drive farther to eat. We usually try it here about once every 6 months. May wait 12 months till next time.

Small country diner. Stopped in after a hike at the state park. Food was good. Friendly. The owner kept bringing us samples and items she thought our 4 yr old might eat. Very sweet of her. I believe it's cash only.

Always excellent food, staff excellent, great value for money. Note: cash only.. they do have at ATM on site.

Amazing home cooked meals!! Great service with a smile! Even the lady in the hat that's in the back smiled at me through the window! They care about us and there not expensive!! It was clean and the food was cooked perfectly never have I felt so at home at a restaurant!!! And I love all of the decor!! The bathrooms are warm and clean. The only thing I didn't like was the jalapeño poppers I feel like 8 would be better than 6 for the price but everything else is beyond perfect

First time visit and won't be my last. The cheeseburger ATW was seasoned perfectly, cooked just right and the chili and coleslaw were absolutely delicious. The fries...out of this world good; BIG serving and fried to perfection. Very clean...100%! Service was fast and attentive. Will definitely become a regular.

First time here and we had the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. The food was really good! The owner was very friendly and even brought out a couple samples for us to try. We will definitely come back. I didn't remember to take a picture until I ate most of the sweet potato fries but here's a pic. They were awesome!
