I love this place! I always get a London Fog. It's so perfectly light and sweet. They have baked in house (but not cocotte's product) chocolate chip cookies that are absolutely delicious but the stars of the show are the fresh pastries and bread! So flakey and well thought out. Definitely made with love. You can run in for a loaf of fresh bread or a sandwich- Whatever your choice is, it won't disappoint!

A French bakery that actually has real French tasting goodies. It's been so hard to find in NC on my travels . Finally lucked out here! Stopped by on a Sunday in my way to charlotte. Wish they had an actual sign on their building but they don't just so you know. The place was packed for breakfast/brunch. They have a nice menu for sit down or take out. Sandwiches and pastries and charcuterie. Breads to go , delicious desserts . Ample room in store for seating but it was packed even then. They have a nice French vibe. Lots of merchandise on sale too as well as the food. I got some things to go . The eclairs were amazing and l had the chocolate and the almond. The passion fruit cube croissant I bought for a friend and she loved the shape and the taste. Nice and buttery and flaky. I took home the almond croissant and the pain au chocolat. These were north amazing. So buttery and each layer stayed crisp til the next day. We air fried it a few mins and it was perfect. The pain au chocolat was my absolute fave. Airy and flaky with really good quality chocolate. You have to try this if you go. I am definitely going back to eat in store. I wish their hours were longer but I guess 3pm it is. I will make it work somehow! It's not cheap but the quality speaks for itself. Worth the $$$. Excited for an actual authentic French bakery !

Very surprised by the reviews that brought me here. I did not have great experience.Service was worse than the bland food. Wow, I had some bad service.at this place, you move through assembly line to order as you examine various beautiful pastries and options and other items on menu. I always like input from the people that work at the establishment-but she had NONE,couldn't offer any perspective, options, preferences, descriptions- her attitude was just pick something. Unfortunately without any input I picked many things. And then she asked ne if it were for here or to go - well, since I picked things, some were intended for here and done to go-she didn't like that answer at all- it's one or the other,so I told her "to go", and she proceeded to prepare as a "here" order. I'm, ok.crazy control personality? In any case, I ate and drank a few of my order items on site and then walked up to ask for to go containers for the to go items, to which I got a Oscar winning eye roll - like it as some shockingly nasty service. The food-beautiful, stunning-but the taste didn't match its looks - trying to remember the whole order: Parisian sandwich: dry and bland. Have you ever had a bland Gruyère cheese?no flavor ham on another flavor French baguette with some gherkins-no mayo, mustard butter - anything. Huh?Turkey salad side: decent, but only because it actually had flavorRosemary olive baguette: what - did you miss the rosemary and olive part?-completely flavorless, not even like a decent baguette- like a limp , ten day old plain grocery store baguette without olives or rosemary Chocolate croissant: again, beautiful-cut it in half and see those beautiful layers as one should see in a French croissant, tasted some chocolate- the croissant again looked way better than tastedApple bow tie- I think was another one. Gorgeous- but it's like arm candy - only there for the looks-with a little slimy, mushy, flavorless soft apple piece inside. The best worst - the special cheese bread, without cheese and as truly bland as the most basic bread at any basic grocery store. The London fog was passable. I drank about 1/3 and threw it out with rest of food I ordered.

My husband and I were very excited to finally have a French bakery in the area, and we waited until after their soft opening before giving them a try for breakfast. It's a little confusing for first-time orders. There's a staff member who takes your order, but she doesn't input orders into a register, so you need to repeat your order to pay with another person. We ordered the Quiche Lorraine, breakfast sandwich (with scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese), apple tartelette, and two small lattes (each with an extra shot of espresso). The quiche and sandwiches are premade and kept in a case behind the register, so your food is ready very fast. My only issue with this method is that both our quiche and the breakfast sandwich were only slightly warm. They could have benefitted from a warm-up in the microwave before delivering them to us. That said, everything was delicious. The quiche slice was generous, and it had plenty of onions and cheese. It came with a side of choice, and I had the fruit. I would have preferred that the onions be more cooked in the quiche, as they were still crunchy. The breakfast sandwich was both of our favorites. The croissant was fluffy, yet still very crispy. It was also generously filled. The apple tartelette had a thick crust and not a lot of filling, but the crust was still very good. Our lattes were also very good, and a very reasonable price ($5.50 each). All told, we enjoyed our meal, and will return.

Love love love having a local airbrush French bakery in the area! Their baked goods are fresh and sometimes even warm if you catch them filling their display. Drinks are made to order and paired well with the French baked goods!

It's wonderful to have a French bakery in the area. I stopped in on a Sunday morning and it was very busy which is a good sign. However, the service was a little chaotic when it came to ordering and it appeared they were out of a lot of items. I'm not sure if they refill them throughout the day but they were pulling multiple signs of items indicating they were not available. The items I was interested in were available which was good news! The chocolate croissant was lovely- not too sweet and flaky how it should be. The sweet bee latte was nice which has honey and cinnamon. The drip coffee was not strong and tasted watered down. We did get this iced so I think the hot just melted the ice and it wasn't as strong as it should be. I also picked up some macaroons for a gift and they look delightful! The madeleines are light and moist but pricey at $8 for 3. We will return for a special occasion due to the pricing of the items but it is a lovely spot!

So disappointing. Our 4th visit. Never been special but the bread and flan were good. Today was a disaster. The blond lady behind the counter was simply demeaning and outright rude. I walked out but my wife stayed to complete the order. After she wish she had walked out too. Buying what we could, the service with a smile was not existent. It was bad service with attitude and sarcasm . We did tip and left wishing we had not bought or left a tip. But we stay correct. Shame. Would have been nice to have a local great bakery.

Wish I had photos of the amazing Gourmand twist, croissants, and baguette breads. We stuffed it down so fast. You could tell everything was all prepared fresh and taste the effort in the details. Fresh berries, delicious breads that's crispy outside and soft inside, clean shop, wonderful environment, and friendly staff! Angela was so sweet! Def will be back often to try everything! Excited to have a fantastic bakery in the area.
