Coach's Neighborhood Grill

We ordered takeout from Coach's Neighborhood Grill and the food was alright, nothing spatular just alright. The Hotdogs all the way were decent but the portion of fries that came with it was very sparse. We also ordered an open faced burger on a bed of lettuce, and what we received was a skimpy over cooked burger on one piece of wilted soggy lettuce accompanied by a stingy side of fries. Not sure if this would be my choice for takeout again, but who knows maybe their in-house service is better.

Stopped at Coaches on the way home from Charlotte. Has outdoor seating area & was not busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. We sat at the bar, which smelled terribly of old stale beer. The service was friendly from one person and cold from the other. It took a bit to get greeted when we sat. The food was actually decent, but a bit over priced for the quality. I will say although service was friendly, it was one of the least attentive and slow experiences I have had in a long time. Some of what appeared to be regulars could be overheard telling racist jokes at the bar. Overall, I would not recommend and will not be returning.

Service was incredibly slow. We waited more than 45 minutes for our food. Waitress did not check on us during the wait. When the food arrived it was barely warm.We had to request utensils to eat with. Definitely understand that restaurants struggle with help these days. However, the long delay, mediocre food and poor service seemed excessive.

Coach's is a somewhat local chain in the area that is your typcial sports bar, family restaurant with burgers, wings, fried food, etc. I have been to this Coach's a few times, both eating in the restaurant and getting take out. The good: the food is pretty good normally. Their wings are nice and crispy and the buffalo sauce is plenty spicy, and their burgers are big and loaded with toppings. The bad: The service.....it is bad enough it makes me wonder how they stay in business. If you are getting takeout, you can order, double the time given to pick up your order and still wait a while at the bar when you pick it up. When eating in the restaurant, I am not sure if they do not have enough staff, or just do not train them adequately. It is always a struggle just to have a full drink and to get the check without waiting forever. If you are looking for a bar to watch the game and grab some food, you could do worse, but if you are looking for service, there are better options in town.

Came in today, was a terrible expirence. The atmosphere was dingy and uninviting, the tables were sticky, and the bathroom was beyond disgusting. The kitchen seemed to be in utter chaos, with orders getting mixed up and food taking over an hour to arrive. Once seated, it took another 20 minutes for our server to greet us. The restaurant wasn't even full, so the slow service was baffling. When our appetizers finally arrived, they were lukewarm at best.At this time, I had enough of this torture and asked for the check. To my surprise the previously deceptive waitresses came alive and rushed with the check as if their life depended on it. I won´t comment on the price because whoever pays to be taken for a fool deserves to be one. Never again will I lay eyes on this sorry excuse of a restaurant. It is banned from my list and so it should be from anyone´s.

This restaurant is clearly under staffed. One girl was there to seat people, take your order, and bring your food to your table for the whole restaurant! One girl!!! We felt so sorry for her because she was clearly not made a priority by her employer. For that matter, neither was the customer. What is a shame is that we would have been back, but this was our first and last time to visit this poorly run restaurant.

Coaches? More like roaches! No chicken, no pasta and no French fries! This place is such a dump.

Good service and great food. Our table had the shrimp and grits, sirloin and cajun chicken pasta. All very good.

Took over 45 min to get simple food. management was the worst ever talking behind us after one of the meals was awful and sent back saying it was a 5.00 lunch special. Then continued to talk to other employees about us when I confronted him all he said was you don't know me just a pos coward can talk behind your back and not to me! Worst place I've ever been in!
