Recently attended the opening soiree for the 12th Annual Art of Sound Festival. It was incredibly professional and well done. The Frank Love Orchestra played two great sets of Big Band Music: Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Tommy Dorsey. NiFen provided the catering with treats from spanakopita to pan fried dumplings. Fox Distributing donated the beer, so that proceeds from sales could go to benefit the Arts Council as well. All of this for only $10 a ticket. Great to have such a cultural event in a small town like Shelby.
