So this was our first time trying City BBQ. Not worth stopping by here. The service or should I say lack of service. We waited over 20 minutes before my husband went to the counter and the gentleman asked what was the name on the order. Well the French fries were cold. The brisket was cold and the hush puppies were cold and the baked beans were flavorless. They were not busy due to we arrived before 8pm. So hopefully you are not hungry because the quality is sub par. So now we have to find another place to eat even after spending 30 plus dollars. So needless to say we will not be back.

When this place first opened, it was great. Now quality control is just awful! Ordered a bbq sandwich, got home and it was a hunk of fat only not chipped up pork. This is too expensive to have to deal with this and then have to throw it away! Then they forget to put things in the bag. Will never go back.

The atmosphere was inviting, clean and thoughtfully designed. Everything we ordered was so perfect. I got a smoked turkey sandwich with Mac and cheese and it was perfection. The hush puppies were the best I've ever had. Even their to go boxes are cute. We will be back for sure.

Ok Folks went to City Barbeque for the First Time and wasn't impressed by the Food. Our choice was the Judge's Platter, and it was not in the Top Tier.First the Meats were cold and the sides (mac and cheese were like cement. Collards were all stems and Potatoe salad had no mustard. Now the Okra and Hushpuppies were very good. Not Banana Pudding either. Really thought it being Saturday around 7pm might be hot and tasty. I can only hope things improve and I think they will. Nobody likes to receive bad reviews, but I have to be Honest. I have visited the Cary NC location several times and have always been very Happy!!!Stop by and Judge for Yourself.

Delicious! The $7.99 pulled pork sandwich was stacked high with deliciously seasoned meat. The side of slaw was huge, much bigger than expected. Hubs dry rubbed wings were meaty and fresh. Their selection of sauces offers something for every taste. The ambience was busy, noisy, and tight inside. It was a bit too cool to sit outside, so we waited a few minutes for a seat at the community table. Service was great. Definitely impressed enough to want to return!

Went to city BBQ today. Got a two meat plate included one side. I got brisket and pulled pork with Mac and cheese and a Pepsi for 25.35 including tax. The brisket had a great smoke ring and smoke flavor ,the pork was ok not much a smoke flavor, and the Mac and cheese was very good and their Texas toast was awesome extremly fresh . Be aware they have limited parking but you can park over in the northern tools parking lot if you can't find a spot. Met one of the managers Mike and he was very cordial and explained a lot of the history. They have 5 different sauces brush fire (hot)Low country mustard sauce with some heat, original bbq sauce,sweet city, and swine wine vinagar based sauce. I'll be back for more brisket for sure!!!!!!!

Stopped in for a quick tasty bite at lunchtime with my daughter. We weren't starving but we craved some bbq The kids platters hit the spot and did not disappoint! The portion size was just enough, the price was right, the flavor was delish, and the service was on par We enjoyed our meal out on the patio. No complaints. Loved the selection of sauces and the self serve drink area. Great bbq pit stop
