Nice and small! Great visit! Kim did a great job helping us and drawing our picture. It was harder than I thought but had a wonderful time. Nice vibe nice music . A little snacks were available for purchase

Went here last weekend as a last minute thing to do for my cousin's birthday. The staff was nice. There was only one person working and it was quite busy but she handled it well. The music is free for choosing, which can get a little weird when you have one group who likes one thing and another group who likes another. Anyways, the place is comfortable. You bring your own food and drinks. They supply everything else. This place is ok, it can be better. Some of my group was running late and she did accommodate us. I'll probably try another place next time. I feel this place could be better.....maybe more staff and a set playlist as far as music, something more neutral. It's hard when one group wants to hear City girls and the other group wants to hear Kamasi Washington. Ijs.

I enjoyed the time with my family. But as a person with NO artistic abilities staff offered NO guidance or suggestion. Never once stopped to help stayed at other table for extended times and multiple times. Not enough staff for unstructured activity. There were 8 tables with 15+ people. A couple left shortly into the session.

Visited City Art Room on a date...looking for something new to do. We purchased the instructed package which allows you to bring your own artwork to have sketched by the instructor on canvas. The sketch provides a guide for your canvas painting. Our instructor was great! She sketched our works onto the canvas with ease and provided suggestions on how to get started. City Art Room differs from other paint and wine locations, as they offer free-style and instructed options. If you get the instructed package you will have guidance. If not, you are own your own. Not a bad thing if you are looking for a space to be creative and relax!The space is very self-serve/DIY. You choose your own paints, brushes, mixing, etc. You can choose to paint canvas, wine/beer glass, clay or finger painting. This allows you to have many options in the event you choose to visit again. It is also a great space for parties or group gatherings. Space is limited; therefore, I would not recommend over 35 or so people (my estimation). I will certainly return! Had a great time!

Maaaaan Kim has some serious patience. Like forrreals. My mother and I had a mommy/daughter day. Spent the whole day hanging out (a bday gift for me) For $20 you have the option of painting on a glass mug or cup, bracelet, canvas, or you can sculpt/mold some clay and paint on it. I like the options because a lot of places just have the whole paint and sip thing, which is cute, but sometimes you wanna switch it up, ya know. So our session started at 4 pm. Sessions are an hour and a half, but uuuuuh yea we were there for like 2 1/2 hours. Sorry Kim! My mom was doing too much. She kept calling Kim to come and help. Kim sketched the drawing out for my mom, helped with the painting. Basically it was a collaborative effort when it came to my moms work. It's pretty dope too. Kim was mad patient though cause yeeeeaaa she had other people there and she was mad attentive when it came to everyone. She checked up on me providing me some tools. I did the clay joint. It came out pretty well. She started me off with a couple tips. Asked me if I needed help along the way. Kim is very nice. She also remembered my husband and I from 2 years ago before they set up the Art Room. She remembered I was pregnant. She remembered the painting my husband did. She also gave me a birthday gift. This is a dope idea for team building, kids parties, family reunions, date night... Check this place out! They're on Groupon... wink wink...

Kim, the instructor was very patient with our group. She gave great feedback and was super helpful! We will return!

My party of 5 my granddaughter 21st birthday was so out of place I've never went to such a incompetent setting for $49 dollars. Collect your own unsanitary brushes , mix your own paint , barely any sketch to color because the owner's cannot provide decent tracings to paint missing details needed , you must collect your own stiff brushes and water. BS blow dryer for hai and one lil real fan. I hated my experience a waste of $250.

Great environment. The hostess and artists were very helpful. You have to find a picture for them to draw and then you paint it. I had a great time with my husband, and the margarita was good too!

I purchased the pre sketched because my ability to draw is not the greatest. The lady with big glasses cannot draw. She drew the picture so damn light I couldn't see the drawing. She kept erasing because she was messing up so much. My husband is already artistic so he did his thing although she drew his light as well. Paint with a twist pre drew their pics with a marker. I hate a lot of their locations closed. The placed is a nice little spot but it's not worth the money. Lady needs to draw better!!They need new brushes and more colors. You want ppl to support your business do a better job! Not impressed at all! My first and last time there! Ppl don't waste ur money!

I had so much fun here with my girlfriends. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. Don't forget to tip them! With their help, we made some adorable artwork to hang up at home!
