Chu's Express

This is my favorite take-out Chinese food in Asheboro! I am not a fan of egg rolls and love that I can make a switch and get a soda instead. The crab wontons are tasty too!

Always fresh and taste better then some of the other Asian food spots around town. If it's busy you'll wait but it's worth it

Coming from New Jersey where we enjoyed pretty good Chinese food for 25 years getting takeout from this place was awful. Shrimp with lobster sauce which I had ,no taste at all not even the shrimp . The egg rolls and cheese wontons were soaked in over used frying oil . Lemon chicken was same . Presented as a salad . Not returning for sure

I've tasted chinese restaurants near but this one is the best. The food always has a good taste the only thing that i don't like much is the pepper steak because they don't serve much meat they serve more onions and green pepper and it's a shame cause i really like pepper steak. Besides that it's a really good place to eat.

Food is good - service is rushed - call in and after each item "is that all". Get tired of that. Ambiance is crappy. Just take out place. Cheap good food in a pinch

been a while since i've eaten at chu's. definitely not what i remembered. no online ordering. so 90's. i couldn't believe the disrespectful counter staff. didn't have spicy chinese mustard. what chinese restaurant doesn't have spicy mustard??? food ok but egg rolls were pretty small compared to china house. will not go back.

Called in our order and was told 20-25 minutes. It took almost exactly one hour before we got our food. I honestly don't think they even start making your food until you get here and are in the building. They are dysfunctional. The food at best was mediocre. This used to be our favorite Chinese takeout.

This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The teriyaki chicken is red colored meat on a stick sitting in a watery liquid that does not taste like teriyaki. The orange chicken is really dry and again sitting in a watery sauce. It does have an orange taste though. The wontons are not crunchy at all. They're soft and soggy. The dumplings are gross. They look like they have a turd in them. I would not spend the money to go here. Ever again.

Quick, easy! We love to call in something and pick it up when we aren't quite sure what to have for dinner. I'm a fan of the egg drop soup and sesameChicken.

I will give this one 4 stars because the serving sizes are just too small. The food was awesome and even with covid their service was awesome.
