This place rocks! I can't believe I've lived near here for nearly a decade and have yet to drop in. Finally got the chance to! I stopped by for lunch to go. It's pretty small inside, with a counter for seating plus tables. The first thing that stood out to me was the 100 sanitation rating! Super impressive! Parking is real tight! I snagged a spot around back. Tons of regulars and they're known by name, which tells me I'm right at home. I ordered the Double Bacon What-A-Burger and fries. YUM! The burger is really big! And you get a good amount of (crinkle cut!!) fries in a small. Both were about $9.50. They cook to order and it was ready in about 10 minutes. The toppings were fresh, and the burger was well seasoned. It's what you'd expect plus so much more from a local, small joint such as this. They also have Coke products which is a plus for me! I was extremely pleased with my experience here and cannot wait to go back. Don't let the exterior deter you! Give it a go!

Was in the area so I remembered someone was talking about this restaurant and the burgers!!It was so packed and hard to find a parking spot. The burger was cooked to order and it took about 15 minutes. So call ahead if you're in a hurry! Small restaurant with big flavors with reasonable prices. I will go back again!

Great place for burgers, crinkle fries and you are treated like an old friend when you go in. It's one of those old time burger joints that are few and far between. The hot dogs are good and the bologna sandwich is excellent. The service is excellent and friendly folks. They use quality fresh ingredients on the burger, like real crisp lettuce and nice slice of tomato. Next time you want a good burger , pass up fast food and give them a try.

Simple little diner you would barely notice from the outside. Staff are friendly, but the establishment has a feel that it's for the local clientele then customers across Greensboro.The food was about average with the burger, fries, and hotdogs I had. Nothing outstanding you couldn't find at any burger place around town. What they do exceptionally well is low pricing, which should be their driving factor for repeat customers.I'd recommend them if you wanted some simple diner food for a great price.

Best burgers and hotdogs in town! I've been eating at this place for over 40 years and although I have moved out of state, I still grab a burger and hotdog when I'm back in town visiting family.

Great burgers at an affordable price. You're always greeted warmly at the door and the indoors have recently been renovated. Don't let the building fool you, this place has great food!

This old school diner (the former Church Street Drive-In) just re-opened this week as Church Street Cafe with mostly the same menu and personnel, but with a little new paint and polish.I stopped in today for some sandwiches, and to look the place over. Solid food, good people - and its a bit brighter inside and out. Glad they're "back".

The place was empty when we got there other than the workers. We ordered our drinks and food and they went right on and started cooking. The tea could have been a little better so I got a soda instead but the diet coke had an expiration date of 10/15/2019 on it and today is 10/21/2019 so it should have been changed out. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a side of extra crispy fries and they were delicious so of course I'll go back for more. My daughters ordered the kids hotdog and the kids chicken tenders and they ate just about everything which for my kids is rare so I take it they enjoyed their food. About 15 min after we started eating some other people came in and the waitress was talking to the other lady while cooking her order but my girls and I waited about 30 min before she asked us if we were ok and if we needed anything. If she had of checked on us more it would have been great but I know how it is to talk to friends so I wont hold it against her. We will still go back because the food is really.

Best burger I've had in a while. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it is so good
