This platter is called Holy Sh*t Breakfast Choice of 1 mimosa or Bloody Mary$30 per person (2 person minimum)It was huge but worth your money if you like to eat . This place stays busy especially brunch time. Service was very slow for us, we got our food in 35+min. It should been free after that but overall I like the music and the environment. I give them a 4 star due to the service, but I'll be back again

Church and Union is a great spot for brunch. The atmosphere is stylish and the service was friendly. The shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious and incredibly filling - I couldn't finish the whole dish of grits! The fresh-squeezed orange juice in the mimosas was a delightful touch. The only downside was the bar seating, which wasn't the most comfortable. Overall, a great brunch experience and definitely worth a visit.

I really liked this place! I'm surprised to see the reviews aren't better but a lot of factors there I'm sure. To be fair, we only had a cocktail and sat at the bar, so perhaps not a full experience, but we enjoyed our time here. We stopped in on a Saturday late morning and it was really busy but we somehow snagged two bar seats. It's a large restaurant, with an upstairs, so plenty of places to sit. The first thing that jumped out at us was how cool the atmosphere is. It's a really unique place with beautiful decor. We parked at the deck across the street so it was a quick walk over. We each ordered a cocktail - The Four Gospels and the Ready Orgeat. We loved them! Very tasty with fresh ingredients. Our bartender was extremely cool and friendly. He offered great recommendations. As I said, we didn't order food this trip but saw dishes going by that looked bomb! It smelled amazing here, too. I'd recommend trying C&U!!

Super cute brunch spot in uptown Charlotte. Nice decor, delicious menu and friendly wait staff. A reservation is recommended and they do not validate parking. The mimosa was just ok but the shrimp and grits is delicious. The portion size on the potatoes and fruit makes it shareable.

Our server was fantastic but that's the only positive. Meatballs, tartare, "handmade" pasta, steak, and crab cake were all below average. Save the money and get tacos at El Veneno at Monarch Market or spend the money and go to Bernadine. I would only go back for a drink. Wish they invested in a better chef since it's right by the Belk.

I chose to host my birthday brunch here this past weekend. One word Phenomenal!! Our server Emma was so attentive and friendly. Our drinks and food came out fast .It was a party of 11 and she checked with a reasonable amount of time. The section where we were seated was so beautiful ! It was intimate and cozy . My entire party couldn't stop raving about how nice are area was. I opted to have the French toast and a side of chicken which was delicious. I can say the French toast was a little sweet for my liking but overall I would give it a a solid 8 out of 10.

Recently, I had the pleasure of indulging in a fine dining experience at Church & Union. Making reservations were rather simple. From the moment I walked into this elegant establishment down to the final bite of the beautifully prepared salmon. The entire experience was EXCEPTIONAL. The restaurant is a sophisticated yet eclectic ambiance. Our server was the epitome of professionalism and genuine passion for service. It was apparent throughout the entire evening. I definitely recommend!!!

7 of us had brunch here on a Saturday morning. The place was packed! But the food came out quickly and we had a good waiterThey have a pretty large variety on the menu and several folks at our table liked the mimosas. The only negative i have for this place is it is super LOUD when busy. We had a hard time carrying on a conversation at our table and being able to hear what was said.

The place has a great vibe but the service and the food did not match the ambiance or pricing. We understand that coming in without a reservation may cause frustration but hostess sure went the extra mile to let us know how inconvenienced they were. Server could hardly be found wait times were fairly long and the food was served cold which is disappointing. Flavor combination on burger was good but nothing to rave about. Others in the group did not love their food either. Not worth it and will not be coming back for brunch.

My party of four had a brunch reservation. Upon entering, two of us arrived early and enjoyed French 75s at the bar while waiting for our table and the rest of our party. The bartender was friendly, and the restaurant was clean with comfortable seating. Finally seated. Our waiter was pleasant, attentive, and patient. Two of us ordered the HOLY $H!T BREAKFAST to share, and it was enough for all four of us. The fried chicken, bacon, and eggs were delicious, but the donuts were just okay. The others in our party enjoyed the shrimp & grits. Overall, we had a nice time catching up over brunch.
