Let's start with the Good! It's just plain good food at throwback prices! WOOHOO For $6.25 I had a plate full of food that I couldn't be mad at! Grits; 2eggs; liver mush and toast! Now one doesn't come here for the ambience or possibly even 5 star service (they were slow getting the food to us) but maybe for that feeling of nostalgia! Its small; you place order first and hope you can find a seat; your food arrives in plastic plates with plastic cutlery and the place could use a lil TLC but there's an argument about that being part of the nostalgia LOL HERES THE BAD - use the bathroom before you come! It's literally the size of a small coat closet - I'm not tall and my knees almost touched the wall and it's a real eyesore - here's the kicker the sink to wash your hands is in the hallway between the ladies room n gents!!!!!!! I can't make this stuff up folks! But the staff is friendly and you can tell the locals support it as there is a steady stream of take out biz! Will I come back sure!

My go-to is one of the breakfast combos, and I usually add hash browns or salmon cakes to make sure I'm completely satisfied. At the same price (or lower) than nearby fast food spots, I highly encourage anyone on the fence to take a chance and try this local find.

It's a great hole in the wall located in Charlotte, NC. I was working nearly and was looking for local places to check out. Google recommended this business, and it had great reviews . Upon entry, the staff was very polite and took our order as we got in. You order that the counter and then find a seat. I ordered the French toast with scramble eggs and bacon and pink lemonade. There were a lot of local people sitting having lunch, and the area was quiet. The wall art was amazing and made you see charlotte from a different perspective Food took about 10 to 15 minutes to be ready. I was so excited to try their French toast however it's was a disappointment. It was burnt and bitter and had no flavor to it. I ended up asking for a side of toast and used it to make an egg and bacon sandwich, which was pretty good. Even though I was disappointed with my French toast , my coworkers seemed to enjoy their meals. I tried their steak and cheese sub, and it was delicious If you are ever looking for a hole in the wall, check this place out and try something other than the French toast. 630 could be sneakers. That's a good deal get a beer. I guess we can stay around the area or there's one K and 5K works for the brewer is an associate and will run getting free beer and burning the color you came from speaking of smoke this is warm, leave it put it on it marshmallows this thing

Chucks has the absolutely most reasonable pricing for breakfast that I have seen in Charlotte. I got the breakfast special that had two eggs, grits, biscuit, and sausage and it was only 7.75! A literal steal. The quality of the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I devoured it sooo fast. When you walk in you get a very warm greeting from the staff and they take your order quickly. There isn't a lot of seating inside so it's best to come with a small group if looking to dine in. There is ample parking on site. This is a true local IYKYK spot. Definitely will be back.

I just happened to come across this spot randomly, and I'm glad I did. If you want a good and simple southern breakfast, this is the spot for you. I got grits, eggs, liver mush, hashbrowns and a biscuit. The food is made fresh to order, so it comes out hot. I think the biscuit was the best part of the meal, though. It was soft and fluffy and delicious! The hashbrowns didn't have any seasoning on them, so I likely wouldn't revisit this dish, but with a little ketchup they were still good. The restaurant is super small, so you may end up having to take it to go, or having to eat with a stranger. Either way, you're gonna enjoy it. The service is super friendly and they try to get your food out to you fast. They have a lunch menu, and what looks like many different specials throughout the week, so I would definitely recommend giving this one a try!

Prices were VERY reasonable. Food and service were great. Country ham was a special treat.

Worth every penny. You will not find a better value anywhere in Charlotte. Breakfast for 3 was $36 and that included a $6 tip. The food is delicious. I just order omelets because what's better?You order at the counter and then seat yourself. Just don't forget to pay before you leave. The family that runs this place are super friendly. A couple of the homies are hilarious. Parking isn't specifically designed all that great but if that doesn't bother you then there's a ton of it lol. The dining room is small. If you have a large group they only have a handful of tables they can merge together. But this is my second option for breakfast in Charlotte. Budget super friendly...

I ordered the double cheeseburger and fries the fries were crispy and the cheeseburger was made to order the way I like!! The staff were friendly and the prices are reasonable!!!
