Chubby's of Hildebran

First time here. Perfect place for a lunch business, I came across them just by chance. They seem to focus on their pizza, but I was itching for an Italian sub. Sandwich was good and flavorful. Soft Italian bread. Meats were quality with good flavor. Service was friendly and quick. I'll come back and try something else from their menu. They have a a good selection of lunch specials.

So we went back and ordered a sandwich and baked potato salad. Much much better choice. We enjoyed both. Just don't order pizza unless they have changed their pizza dough game.

Chubby's has been a childhood favorite of mine all of my life. I've always got their subs, which are reasonable priced and filling... But recently I had started getting their cheese pizzas... I could not believe how insanely good they are! Even the crust has a pretzel like texture, without it actually being a pretzel, and I find that very appetizing! They have other locations, including Cajah's Mountain, Granite Falls, and Conover! They may have more stores that I'm unaware of, but if you've never gave them a chance, please do! They are excellent for lunch and make your food quick to order!

My first time ordering from here I got me a meatball sub and a small pizza cheap and great and the staff of cute I'll be coming more often for the good service and the eye candy!!!

Second time ordering a 10.00 chef salad. Both times they put about a spoonful of finely shredded meat. For the price you would think that they would put some meat onto it since you are paying for it. So very disappointed. My husband said something to them about it and all they did was think it was funny. What is funny when you lose customers that want to get what they pay for. And when I shift finely, I mean something so fine that a goldfish would starve from. Will not order from again.....had to add my own meat to salad so a high dollar 10.00 salad just cost me even more....sad.

Good food, great service and a good variety of items, even has daily specials. Very clean eating area and the staff keeps everything moving.

Quick service. Excellent food. Good quality. Sweet super staff. Love this place. Which they would add a few more toppings, like spinach... And possibly an Italian bread/cheese sub.

We ate here tonight... haven't ate here in many months. Ham is definitely changed... for the bad. But while we were eating ( a hour before closing), the lady started mopping all around us! I think that is so rude.

I've always been a fan of Chubbys salads! U get more than ur moneys worth everytime, it's ALWAYS FRESH and made to order and they got banging ranch to boot! Staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. And now they gotta a drive thru that puts them in my top 5 list!! Also wanna give a shout-out to kasey!! She's the best!! Always knows what I want without having to tell her and she the sweetest thing!! Keep up the good work guys!!

Everytime we go there's always something different. A couple months ago when our daughter was only few months old, a young girl handed my husband our pizza and said "I made this just for you" and he ignored her. Her walking up all you could hear was "is it a boy? Is he cute?" The whole time I was in the backseat with our newborn. I understand the girl couldn't see me, but his wedding ring was visible. Not only what she did was highly disrespectful, but dangerous. What if my husband was some creep and waited for her to get off work? Also when you pulled a piece up all the cheese fell off. I had called one night and the girl put me on hold for 30 minutes but we were sitting right outside, nobody was in there. They were just talking. Well so I hung up and called back and she AGAIN put me on hold. So after another 15 minutes my husband called and she immediately took his order. We were there meeting up for fb marketplace so we had time that night. But really??? Well the other night we went to order and the girl let my husband order and then put him on hold for 15 minutes and come back and proceeds to say "our ovens off soo" and to which he asks "so you can't make my pizza? Why didn't you tell me before I ordered?" And she just said "no sorry" and hung up. That was at 7:10 and the call ended at 7:30. The management sucks, the employees suck, the cleanliness is gross. But the food (when made right) is actually good so we overlooked everything. I'm so fed up with dealing with shitty customer service for no reason, I worked in the food industry. I get it. But I have never went into a restaurant/food establishment and dealt with this much. I'd rather eat shitty gas station food then here.
