Well, Well, Well...A restaurant right down the road from my house. I came here a couple of times when it was McNulty's Taproom. Chubby's has been here for a couple of years and I've been meaning to check it out.I'll say this is a new staple:Pros:- The menu. I only eat chicken - there was over 5 really solid options for me to choose from.- Appetizers. Everything from onion rings to poutine to cheese curds. Am I really still in South Carolina?- You will not leave hungry. Guranteed. These portions are legit. I'm a huge overeater and I actually brought leftovers home.- Very friendly staff. I came in at 11:00 so it was slower, but I was impressed with how friendly my waiter was. Cons: - None.We started with onion rings and these are killer. They're huge and all different sizes/shapes which means these are made in house. They came with ranch which was excellent. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. This thing was gigantic and flavorful. You know it's good when it has craggly bits that are crunchy hanging off the side. I was impressed with how thick the chicken was, but at the same time how well it was cooked. No bite felt dry or overcooked. Really great taste/texture going on. My wife got a smash burger and said it was a top-3 burger she's ever had.Chubby's is an excellent place for a burger or chicken sandwich. It's fresh, hot, and plentiful. I will gladly return.

It was okay. Cool, kick back atmosphere. Nice server. Food was ok. The onion rings were the best part. The turkey burger (even though the description made it sound better than what was sent out)- was bland & basic. And the fries were cold, an only a small amount. But over all I would try again.

Our ROMEO group of nine went here for this week's lunch. We've voted Chubby's as the "Best Hamburger in Cola" and of the 150 restaurants we've tried it is one of our all-time favorites. Most of the guys ordered burgers but we had two Chicken Nashty Sandwiches, which are always good. But this was the first time we've visited where they've had the new Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. Two of us ordered the small Philly with mushrooms, onions and cheese. I chose mine with Cheese Whiz. I forgot to order jalapeños on the side, but the sandwich was excellent. The bun was very good, lots of meat and it really surprised us both that it was so good. Next time I'll order jalapeño peppers for it. It's tough to select what you want here, as their burgers are the best....the Chicken Nashty is great...and now the Philly Cheesesteak! I like their large B.A.P. pretzel with cheese sauce also. Their home fries were crisp and very good today. One think I miss is that they advertised a fish sandwich months ago that looked terrific. But every time I've come they say it was only a "special" and apparently don't make it anymore. I would've liked to have tried that.Our waitress, Hannah, was great. Refilled drinks, checked on our group often, and deserves kudos! Average rating among the 9 of his was 4.69...so rounded off it gets a 5.0!Phill

Easily one of the best burgers I've ever had! I had the BOYB with bacon, lettuce, tomato, burger sauce and mayo. I loved that the bun was warmed and slightly toasted. The fries were SO GOOD! They're definitely my preferred style of fry and taste great alone or with burger sauce. My daughter had the kids burger which seemed to be the same size as the BYOB (no complaints about this.) The pricing was great for the portion size. We got our food to go but the it was clean inside and the waitress was friendly. I will definitely be back and have made this will be my "go to" burger spot.

Best smash burgers in town.Chubby's originally started as a food truck and now has a full on restaurant with craft brew on tap.If you're looking to get your burger fix then Chubby's is the spot. They served burgers in a brew pub style spot.The burgers range all the way from classic to crazy but all within good taste. I haven't had a burger from here I haven't liked yet! Honestly any thing on the burger list is worth a shot.They also have a pretty solid draft list that includes several local Carolina brews.If you're looking for a solid spot for burgers or brew this is going to be it. I've heard the chicken sandwich is really solid too but can't confirm as of yet.

So I've been here a few times and usually enjoy the rustic atmosphere, friendly service and flavorful food. It's out of the way but we were happy to support a local restaurant for small business Saturday. Unfortunately the waitress was rude, short, and dismissive when asked about the change in menu, absent specials and when our food arrived, smaller portions. I was wondering why she told us the restaurant was now doing portion control on food when asked about smaller portions especially when there was no price change to match the smaller amounts? I'm impressed by Chubby's back story and won't write this spot off(yet!) but could have done without the poor customer service.

Back to Chubby's for takeout tonight. We chose the Cobb Salad and they were delicious. Great options. House dressing is amazingly good.Online order process was easy. And the i order was ready when they said it would be.And I should mention, of course the place was rocking on a Friday night. There's always live music. Chubby's, always a good choice.
