Christine's Wood Fire

A great addition to Albemarle. We've been twice and had a great time and meal both times. It's good to have a place to take friends when we're hosting.I've gotten the filet mignon before and enjoyed it, but this time I ordered the pasta and loved it. Honestly think the shrimp and scallops are what this restaurant does best.

We had a great experience here. We came on a Saturday around 7pm... it wasn't busy so it was nice and quiet with a nice ambiance. The building had some character to it and the furniture matched the vibe. We ordered drinks and an appetizer to start. The drinks were good and the shrimp scampi dip was delicious! For dinner I ordered the bbq chicken pizza and my husband got the scallops. The scallops were huge! And plated very nicely. I tasted the risotto that came with it and it was delicious. Everything we had was really good. The service was good. Definitely a hidden gem if you're not familiar with the area. Oh and get the banana pudding cannoli! You won't be disappointed

the sirloin steak was the best steak i have had in a long time. MUST get the compound butter to go on top and the homemade mac & cheese for the side. totally worth the 27$ for the meal. this is something i would keep coming back for again and again. bailey was also an amazing server and went above and beyond to make our meal special.

Finally some great, fresh food in Albemarle. This place has a more modern feel to it and the staff was so friendly. Our table had the ribeye with a truffle compound butter that was to die for. We also had the mascarpone and onion stuffed chicken and it had so much flavor to it. I highly recommend the fire grilled veggies as a side. The summer punch, for adults, is really, really good. We will be back very soon.

Great service, beautiful place, food was really good but... entirely too much salt added to sauces and veggies. Unfortunately, I left most of my food uneaten, I couldn't eat it.

The vibe in here is classy and elegant. I had the salmon, and cast iron skillet corn for my side. The salmon was amazing light and bright with flavor, corn on the other hand tasted great but the cheese on top felt like an afterthought maybe they heated it up in the microwave I don't know. Went back a second time and ordered crab cakes and they definitely didn't taste too great but coulda been an off night. Service was great, constantly bringing refills without asking and checking in. Would definitely eat there again pricing could be better hence the area we're in but it's definitely worth the trip out here.

We are visiting the area and ate at Christines twice in a week! We were here last year and so impressed!! They have nightly drink specials. Loved the Brussels sprouts, burgers, pork belly. Service at the bar was excellent both visits. Highly recommend if you are in this area!!!

The food is good but we will never go back. Went on Friday night and as we were at the hostess stand there was a gentleman at the bar front and center with a large plate of onion rings. When we were ordering we asked our waitress if we could get a plate as an appetizer. She went and checked with the chef and returned to inform us that he said he wouldn't cook them, the guy that had them was a close friend. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The guy shouldn't have been front and center with them if the chef refused to prepare them for other patrons. My husband and I have decided to never return - we will not be supporting a business that obviously does not value its customers.

We had a table of 8. We met some friends there, and it was the 1st time at this restaurant for all of us. All 4 couples ordered the Wood Fired Pizza. The crust was paper thin, and so "wood fired" that it was hard to cut. The pizzas had very little toppings, and was not enough food for an adult. The cost for each 10" pizza was 18.00!!! I would have gladly exchanged this overpriced pizza for a Little Caesars Large any day of the week. It was an insult to to have such a high bill to pay for dinner with a salad, and left hungry. If you want to pretend like it's good food because it's supposedly a high end restaurant, then so be it. I will not be returning there. They charged a 12.00 service fee per each bill! We considered that their tip.

Maybe dinner would be better, friend and I went for lunch... the lunch menu is very small and only side options are chips or a salad for $1 more. The sandwich I got did not have meat so I had to add chicken making my sandwich $20 not a great lunch option.. same with my friends meal. She got the Cesar salad and added chicken which looked to be about 3oz worth.... We both left hungry and greatly disappointed. Price is not the issue for me. Portion for the price is definitely the issue. If your into the elegant atmosphere, dainty menu and food portions then this is the place for you. Just don't come too awfully hungry. Also our particular server was far from hospitable ....
