Cholanadu Indian Bistro

Wonderful food. My takeout order was prepared very quickly and accurately. The chicken biryani is my go-to!

My friends and I were visiting the Ballantyne area of Charlotte for the weekend and wanted great Indian Food for dinner. Cholanadu was highly rated here on yelp, so I picked it. It's located in Fort Mill, a quick drive from the Ballantyne away from the city. Cholanadu is located in a shopping center, with plenty of parking. There's a nice amount of tables and booths inside, there is also a small bar area with about 6 or so seats. We were seated right away on a busy Saturday evening at 7. There was one open table being cleaned. It was perfect, because we were all so hungry. The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly. Once they brought our water to the table and the menus, they gave us time to look at the menu. We all knew what we wanted, so it didn't take long. One of my friends has a nut and a gluten allergy, and they had no issues with ensuring her meal was made to her needs. Our food came out in a decent amount of time for as crowded as it was. Our food came out perfectly. And every single bite was sooooooo delicious. I was stuffed, but didn't want to stop eating, but I was excited that I had left overs so that I could enjoy the yumminess all over again the next day!!If you are ever in the area and are craving delicious Indian food, definitely go to Cholanadu!

Service was quick, they answered questions we had and food arrived quickly. Food was excellent, definitely some of the best Indian dishes I've ever had. Highly recommend!

The food is decent. Our group ordered items to go online for pickup and was told about 20 min. I get all the way home and realized that they forgot an item within the bag. When I called to advise them about the issue all they said was it was their fault and that we should come back and get it mind you it was not busy and they only had one table seated at the time so that mistake shouldn't have happened. So it was major inconvenience that I had to leave the gathering again to go back to there restaurant for there mistake. The ambiance of the restaurant was ok did have to wait awhile to be helped but advice would be to make sure everything is there before leaving as they don't care to check items before it goes out .

Our fav Indian restaurant in Fort Mill - Cholanadu has all the staple menu items, excellent and friendly service, and incredible naan bread. The space is small and tastefully decorated, clean, and the outdoor seating is great as the restaurant is tucked back in a bit in a quieter side of the shopping center (little traffic buzzing by while we're eating on the patio.)Enjoy!

Wonderful food, friendly staff, great prices! You must try the Gobi Manchurian (friend cauliflower), so tasty!When we dine in, we always sit on the patio of the weather is nice. Highly recommend!

From the moment you walk into Cholanadu Indian Bistro, you're greeted by a super nice team that makes you feel right at home. This was my first time trying Indian food, and they made the process so warm and inviting. The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is charming with tables, TVs, and music. It might look like a hole in the wall, but trust me, you won't be disappointed if you stop by!The food was incredible - big portions, flavorful, and tasty. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Highly recommend!

Food was very nice.. Slightly bland, seemed to cater to American taste. Lacked a bit of spice and punch.. But everything was fresh and service was wonderful. Ambience was also very good! Will definitely recommend the food! Will visit again!

The food and service are excellent at this restaurant. We've only been twice, but I think this is my new go to place. Blue Taj used to hold that spot, but Cholanadu's food is at the same level and is much closer to my home. They're in Fort Mill SC. Prices are reasonable and parking is no problem.give them a try when you've got a hankering for Indian food. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The food is awesome and I've never had an issue with the service always top-notch. It's a clean little comfortable location. If you not tried Indian food walk-in, and they will explain what all the options are and what they are. Went with a group of people and we did a big sampling of menu items. In fact, I need to eat there more often.
