Great service and great food. The food is always delicious, fried chicken and shrimp fried rice and egg drop soup is my go to. The lady is always so sweet and welcoming. Restaurant is clean and inviting. I've been going here for years now and always enjoy coming back! :)

Coming from Chicago it's hard to find really good Chinese food in Charlotte but this place is decent. Pick it up don't deliver, if it's cold you've wasted your money. I got the Orange chicken which was pretty okay. The wonton soup could use some flavor but it was okay, the crab Rangoon are just cream cheese Rangoon there's no crab, not even imitation. They are really fast with completing online orders it took 10 mins and was ready at the exact time they estimated online.

Wow got the shrimp and broccoli. You get maybe 5 shrimps and about 20 piece of broccoli. No flavor, Truly it had not spices. Just a brown jelly sauce. Pay maybe 2 dollars more to get a good Chinese lunch meal somewhere else. Also when you walk in it's hot with a smoky burnt grease smell. That when I should have walked right out. But I wanted to give them a chance. Haven't been to this place in about 5 or more years. Now I know why.

Unfortunately I have to update my review due to my recent visit and go down from a 3 star to 2.I have been buying food from this location for more than a year. I usually keep my order pretty simple. House fried rice (chicken, shrimp and pork) but lately I have been asking for no pork, cheese wontons and sweet & sour chicken.The last few orders I have noticed that the chicken pieces in my fried rice have gotten smaller and smaller.Had a real hard time finding any chicken in my fried rice the last time that I ordered.I have now decided not to return to China Tea Room to buy anymore food. From now on I will buy from the numerous other Chinese restaurants in the area.Don't rob your customers.....put some meat in the fried rice!

Really good cheap eats that are tastyIf the mall is too far then they hit the spot. When is just fast American Chinese food, it does hit the spot.

So this is the typical Chinese takeout spot. It's not anything fancy or really a place you would sit down to eat and get 5 star service. However, I use to order from here on a consistent basis. 1) Out of convenience because I live in the area but 2) the couple/family who use to own this place were very friendly and 3) they had good food. It's been a while now, since the switch in ownership happened, but I don't even bother to use this as an option for takeout on the nights I don't feel like cooking. I've given this place a chance serval times from the switch in ownership. My conclusion is service is subpar and food just tastes real mediocre now. All I can say is it's mehhhh. IMO, it's nothing to brag home about. To each their own though because someone might love the food here, but it's definitely not for me. I haven't returned in quite some time now and don't plan on it until the next change in ownership.

Ordered boneless spare ribs dinner combo and chicken wings. I requested pork fried rice instead of regular fried rice and was ok with the up-charge of $3. Picked up food and got no pork fried rice but just plain fried rice. As far as taste, none of the items were good. Not even the chicken wings. Over fried and too crunchy. Boneless ribs were too saucy and salty. First and only time coming here. Glad I didn't tip as the up-charge was their tip.

Worst customer service ever. I placed a large order for pick up. When I returned I was missing a meal. I called to explain and instead of her apologizing and correcting she wanted to argue and go back and forth. We spend well over $100 at least twice a week. Never again.

Their service are really quick and food are really delicious. One of the best Chinese food in town!

Food was ok but I found a piece of metal on my chicken which was disturbing. I don't think I will be returning.
