China Saute

Good, grab and go Chinese. Solid food but nothing life changing. They do what they do well and if you are in the area and wanting a takeout Chinese food then this is a good stop. Portions are generous and the staff is nice.

I got this delivered so cannot speak to the staff and physical location unfortunately. I ordered the general tso's lunch special with crab Rangoon and wonton soup. In short, I was pretty underwhelmed. The fried rice had no veggies, the wonton soup had no flavor, and the crab rangoons were a bit soggy. What I did enjoy was the general tso's chicken, it packed quite a kick and was full of flavor.

The wings are so good! I lovely honey chicken and beef and broccoli the best here! Highly recommend and service is top notch-I don't stay here to eat always "to go" since it is just a few minutes down the road and can bring the food for my family-

Terrible food. Don't go. Worst Chinese food I have ever had in 55 years. The cook and the ingredients are very poor quality.

Been going to China Saute since they were down on Park Road where Sal's is now. The seafood lo-mein is excellent, and the staff are great!

Just had Hibachi Chicken. best I've ever had. so much chicken with vegetables and rice. Delicious

I've been eating here for 15-20 years. Same family working and serving. Food has always been consistently excellent. I was surprised to see so many 1 and 2 star ratings? That's okay. They'll do just fine without your business. Not just the best Asian food in East CLT, but one of the best in this cesspool of a city.

We placed a to-go order today for sesame chicken. It was VERY disappointing. I believe the chicken was old, as in it was cooked earlier and maybe had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours and hours because I couldn't even chew most of it, particularly the smaller pieces and the edges of the larger pieces. Those pieces were hard and stringy. The only edible pieces were the middles of the larger pieces. This was a big waste of money as a good portion of my food ended up in my napkin. The positive is that the customer service is great, but I was really bothered by the food quality. Maybe today was a bad day OR maybe it's better to order earlier because n the day just to be safe ( although it really shouldn't matter. ) The taste of the edible pieces were fine, but it can only give this one star due to a large quantity of food being inedible.

Handwritten menus-It's freezing in there and they walking around in coats... no heat so if you wanted to sit and eat you will be cold.Rice was good but chicken was not-3 pieces cute in half to make you think you had 6 pieces of chicken Not worth the money and staff not the most pleasant.I had to ask for a forkHad to ask for extra soy sauce and had to give the three duck sauce back to get three soy sauce Not going again!

My family and I have been going to China Sauté since 2002 when they use to be on Park Road and still go to their location on Albemerne Road. I don't go as much as I use to, but we ate there tonight and the food is still as good as ever. Thank you for your wonderful service and food for the past 21 years we've been coming.
