The best Chinese food around. The wood is always cooked perfectly, it's hot, and any special requests are met. The staff is kind and quick. There is only an area to sit and wait, this is not a dine-in restaurant. Price is more than reasonable.

They are timely, prices are ok, and they are pleasant. The draw backs, no dining in, and English is poor

Nondescript little restaurant packed with Great FlavorVery easy to miss. It's a small Family Owned Chinese Restaurant buried in a strip mall anchored by a Food Lion on Old Mountain Road just North of I-40. Very easy to overlook and I had until today.Had intended on trying another pizza place in the neighborhood till I found out they were take out only. Best thing that could have happened because then I found this place. Actually I should not say I found it since I have known it was here for a long time. It just never occurred to me to give it a try.Walked in and the place was almost deserted with only a young man behind the counter. At first was not impressed because one of the tables had only been partially bused but that was corrected while I was there.Looked at the menu on the Board above although the do have a printed version as well.Saw one of my favorites with is Mongolian Beef so I ordered that. It only comes with white rice as a side. Also ordered Sweet Tea to go with it and was curious about the sign behind the counter that they were no longer going to serve ice.It a plain and simple restaurant. Only one person at the counter, everyone else is back in the kitchen. They do have a 95% rating on their last inspection and while I was waiting from my order, the young man did complete the busing of the one table plus he sprayed down every other table in the room with a sanitizer.I love Mongolian Beef but in this area, you rarely get it with any of the heat or spiciness that is characteristic of the dish.. In other words, I was taking a chance on the dish.My tea came out first. A 32 fl oz container with lid and a straw on the side. No ice but cold so much have been pre made and put into a refrigerator. Probably had problems with an ice maker in the past and decided this was the best way to go.While I waiting, a couple of people show up to pick up their take out so I'm going to guess that at least at lunch time, the bulk of their business is take out.Lunch arrives and it's served in a Styrofoam take out Clamshell. The White Rice is on a plate on the side. No where near what I would call elegant dining. That said, why did I give it a 4 star rating. When I took the first bite of the Mongolian Beef, I was not impressed but then the taste, flavor, spiciness and heat began to develop in my mouth and very quickly I was enjoying some of the best Mongolian Beef I have had in years. This place gets 4 stars just on the quality and quantity of the food alongIf you're willing to endue minimalist atmosphere but with food with a punch, this may be your place.

Have only visited once, but it was super good. Chicken and broccoli special combination, lo-mein special combination, sesame chicken combination, crab Rangoon, beef sticks, and chicken egg rolls. Beef sticks got a so-so review, but everything else was delicious. It got pretty busy and the wait ended up being about 45 minutes, but they were doing the best and the food was very good.

The best in town! Out-does so many of the Augusta Chinese restaurants by leagues. If you're in LC, definitely give this little spot of Heaven a visit.

Great hidden hole in the wall gem located in a strip mall. Normally when you see one of the many "strip mall" Chinese restaurants, you don't even blink an eye. They are common. However you may want to blink an eye, stick out your arm and open the door to this particular one. Surprisingly the food is really good and authentic as far as American standards go. Now the environmental side of you will cringe with all the styrofoam and plastic utensils. Apparently they don't like to wash dishes. As in they don't do plates or cups or any reusable cutlery. It's strictly throw away only. Which makes me wonder, is the price of water and dish soap cost more than I think because their prices are in the $5 range. How can they afford so much styrofoam and plastic yet keep the prices so low?Regardless you gotta try them. The prices are beyond reasonable and the food is really tasty.P.S. Drinks are normally served without ice here. I don't know why but it gives it a whacky kind of charm.

I'm not sure what sign the moon was in when the others visited this restaurant but I've been patronizing here since around 2011 and I've never had a bad experience. I used to be guilty of ordering the same thing each and every visit but now I've started to venture out. I used to always order Crab Rangoon, Egg Drop Soup and Shrimp Fried Rice, occasionally, I might get a Spring Roll. Our food has always been correct, fresh and hot. We generally get carry out but we have dined in a few times. Really no difference, food is always served quickly. My latest ventures have been Vegetable Lo Mein and for the first time tonight, Spicy Ginger Chicken. I have enjoyed the new meals as much as I used to enjoy my old standard. I find the food to be fresh, veggies are always crisp and crunchy, meat is tender and plentiful. I've never received overcooked food nor have I ever felt portions were skimpy. Egg Drop soup is flavorful and hot with plenty of egg bits throughout. Delicious! Shrimp fried rice is on point! Warm flavorful rice full of scrambled egg bits, mixed veggies and shrimp. Spring rolls are flash fried to perfection, crunchy outside with crisp veggies inside. Veggie Lo Mein is a healthier choice but still very tasty. Spicy Ginger Chicken has crisp veggies and tender chicken covered in a Ginger sauce with just a bit of kick. I was really impressed and now I'm kicking myself for not trying sooner. I highly recommend China One!

Restaurant is going downhill. Tonight 2/18/18, we ordered and picked up there. 1st) they said 25 minutes.... I got there when they said and it was another10 minutes and no food. Finally got the food, got home and it was horrible. The chicken fried rice was not chicken and the rice was not fried. This place also if closed on Mondays now and they don't serve ice with their drinks. Sorry excuse for a resturant.
