Hot and Sour soup that lives up to the "Hot" title! This was spicy and good.
Roast pork Egg Fu Young. I didn't expect the slight touch of cinnamon in the gravy, but it was good.

Sweet and Sour chicken combo with fried rice and an egg roll. Pretty good for carry out.

Bland and tasteless food. It's the only Chinese restaurant in Blythewood amd it's not worth the money. When I entered, there was a small girl who looks to be about 10 yrs old standing at the register smacking on what I guess was gum. She looked at me without speaking so I asked jokingly, "are you taking orders?" She replied yes. I ordered pork mei fun and steam potstickers. She mumbled my order back, handled the payment and put the ticket in the kitchen. I let her know that I would return in 20 mins as I walked to another store in the same shopping center. My order was ready, I took my food to my hotel room next door to eat. Both items were tasteless. I don't smother my food in sauces or seasonings, I expect the cooks to properly complete that task. They skimped on the pork meat in the mei fun so my container was mostly rice noodles and mushrooms with a few pieces of pork hidden around the sides. Never spending my money at this place again.

This is the only Chinese restaurant in Blythewood. I've tried several different items on the menu, and each dish that I've tried is disappointing. I now choose to drive 20 miles away for Chinese rather than waste my money here. Don't say you have not been warned.

This was my first time ordering from China King in Blythewood. There is no dine in option so I took the order home. I ordered the teriyaki chicken on a stick, an order of spring rolls and a large sweet tea. There were 4 teriyaki chicken sticks in the order. These were some of the best chicken teriyaki sticks I have ever tried. I was really impressed. The spring rolls were small, but they were full of flavor. The sweet tea came in a very large styrofoam cup and had more sugar than I expected (the tea was good - most places don't use enough sugar). My order was only about $12; a great value for the quality and amount of food I received. I look forward to trying more items from China King.

Food was too salty and gross. So gross that my nine year old son threw up his meal. One of the worst Chinese food I ever had, beats the Chinese food I had in London.

I've really wanted to love this place because I love Chinese food and it's the closest one to my house. I LOVE their crab Rangoon, but I can't get over the fact I was served Kung Pao Roach once. I recently thought to myself, eh, give them another shot. Got the crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup, and sweet and sour chicken (safe bet, right). Well, my husband and I split everything except the soup. I had severe diarrhea after we ate, but my husband didn't. Still not convinced it was from the food I waited a couple of days before finishing off the soup....severe, stomach cramping diarrhea again. I think I have to call it quits at this restaurant.

Overall, this place is pretty decent. The portions, the price, and the flavor was all good. It's definitely a dive on the inside, but don't let that deter you from trying this place. We had lemon chicken, sesame chicken, the vegetables and the Pu-Pu platter. The sesame chicken was too bland for my taste but it was still good. This restaurant is hidden in the strip mall behind the Exxon station in Blythewood.

Food was amazing! Most Chinese food restaurants cannot be re-heated and taste just as good the next day, especially the rice! We ordered the usual family favorites on New Years Eve and the portions were well enough for a family of five. As expected, the restaurant was super busy with walk-in and takeout orders and as exhausted as the cashiers face appeared (I've worked in food service) she greeted me with a pleasant smile. The establishment was clean, you have a clear view to the kitchen as well when ordering and the food was amazing! (again). I'm about to order again after this review!

Don't waste your time. The food used to be "ok" about a year ago but here lately it's bland and the sauces are all watered down. It's just not good at all anymore. The last 4 times have been subpar, not to mention how expensive their prices are. Go to China Garden on Parklane rd instead.
