China Grove Family House

We went last Sunday evening and everything was great! I ordered a Reuben and my wife got sirloin tips. Everything tasted great and the service was excellent! I'm glad we went!

Well the food is great! I had the fried chicken.. it was delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and the skin was crisp and flavorful. Would order again. Hubby had a shrimp po boy it was good .. but the service was questionable. Both meals came why 2 sides, etc but waitress only asked for one side on one of the orders. We needed ketchup for our fries but my the time we got it after asking twice we really didn't need it. It was really cold where we were seated . Would just order take out on the future

Headed to my daughters house and needed to kill some time so we went through China grove looking for something to eat. The parking lot was PACKED! Good sign. There was a small wait but seats were comfortable. The hosts were sweet and sat us quickly.Our server was new but wonderful! Such a good attitude and smile. I'm ashamed to say I didn't get her name. (She gave it I just forgot) she made some recommendations and we ordered. Appetizer came out quickly. Bang Bang shrimp.? Well good but basically fried shrimp in butter and Buffalo sauce. Huge portion! We couldn't eat it all. My friend got the seafood pick 2 and I got the hamburger steak. Neither of us could finish all the food. Wow. I never get a Togo box but I have lunch for tomorrow.We will be back if ever in the area.

It was my first time trying this restaurant with my boyfriend! The food is really delicious in my opinion! The service was great! Atmosphere is nice but the restaurant is so huge in the inside when you walk in! I would totally recommend this place with your families, friends, or your love ones for a perfect casual dinner date!

Food prices went up but oddly the plates get smaller and smallerFish taste old Shrimp is mealy

I have been going here since it opened in this latest spot. I dont like most of their food, its all just a little bit off somehow. It's hard to put a finger on what it is but it is always like the seasonings are off just s bit but I dont know if its the wrong spice or what but it is something.I do really love the big chef salad and the bang bang shrimp, everything else I skip. I have tried the Tuesday special of dumplings several times but its the same thing, some kind of herb, seasoning that just doesnt belong. I dont know, can't figure it out. Bang bang shrimp is the same way, its good but something in it that doesnt belong keeps it from being great. Its a very popular spot in town. I usually go to the take out window, rarely go inside. Be prepared to wait if you go at regular supper times.

This place was recommended by a local and did not disappoint. We all ordered fried chicken with different sides. The dark meat was juicy and flavorful, and the collard greens were on point! Looking forward to going back to try other dishes/specials, but the fried chicken is a must!

I've been to this restaurant many times Only a few times have I ever had a situation where my service was slack until today.I was fitted on the left side of the restaurant appropriately 3:30 .I sat and waited for my server to show.Not only until I called the restaurant and spoke with a manager did i get service

Great menu lots of choices , I choose the beef liver and onions with macaroni and cheeses , the service was quick and very attentive during our visit .The restaurants style is family oriented and rustic with accommodations for large groups and well as couples.

Absolutely love this place. Such a cute restaurant, and the food is good too! Very wide selection of options to get to eat, the workers are also very nice :)
