A Simple and Satisfying New Year's Day TreatFeeling lazy and not in the mood to cook on New Year's Day, I decided to visit this small Chinese buffet. I called ahead to confirm they were open, but unfortunately, I realized upon arriving that I had forgotten my phone at home, so I couldn't take any food pictures. This cozy restaurant offers a classic Chinese buffet with a selection of 25 to 30 items. They serve favorites like fried chicken, beef and broccoli, lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, wonton soup, and even California rolls. There's also a small dessert section featuring ice cream, cakes, and more. While the restaurant isn't fancy, the food is fresh and flavorful, and the customer service really stands out. My waitress was especially kind and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience. The price is another highlight--dinner buffet costs just $11.50, which feels like a steal considering how prices seem to be rising everywhere else. They also offer buffet by the pound and takeout options, making it flexible and convenient. It's comforting to know there's a place I can visit when I'm craving Chinese food that's affordable, not overcrowded, and reliably good. I'll definitely be back!

Got sick eating here earlier. Not sure what it come from exactly (as I ate a lot of different things off the buffet) but I could tell some things should have been thrown out before I arrived because some of the items were just barely warm when I ate them. I ended up going back for my second plate and didn't notice until I was sitting back down, but there was a small piece of a straw paper in the rice. I was nice about it and just tried to tell one of the girls, but even after telling her that I dug it out the rice after seeing it before I fully sat down and grabbed my fork, she insisted it was from my straw paper and ignored me telling her that there was straw paper in the rice on the buffet. The rice wasn't removed or even checked in the buffet after I told the girl and she kept insisting it was from my straw paper (which it was obviously from fresh rice on buffet and was completely untouched on my plate except the spot where it was spread open to retrieve the paper). I tried to eat a few other things to replace this and even on my third plate, I got a few different things and 2 of 3 were barely warm again... I didn't try the third as at that time I did feel a little sick after trying 2 more different barely warm buffet items. I ended up leaving and didn't get real sick immediately, but later on about 2 hours after started to get sweaty and shaky which for me only happens when I do eat something off (raw meat, bad / old food, etc). I use to frequent this place multiple times a week as they've been here many years and it was very good in the past. I don't doubt that it is good during opening/lunch hours, but after that is when I visited and it is just not completely hot. The rice was the only thing that I tried and the green beans which were completely hot. The rest was either barely hanging on or beyond gone. All I really wanted was rice but with the finding of the paper in the new plate of rice, I already lost my appetite and tried to keep going on, but when the food temperatures and times aren't being held to any standard, I get sick usually from the old food and today it was obvious this was why.

This place is a smaller buffet so don't expect much. There's a section of fruits and desserts and another roll of your typical Chinese dishes like egg rolls, stir frys and rice. Food is always fresh and every item on this buffet is good! I personally think the food is better than any buffets in Charlotte but to be fair, I'm sure it's hard to cook a lot of dishes for a buffet of lines which is probably why not every single item will taste the best. But as far as consistently this buffet never disappoints.

I have been eating here with my girlfriend since we moved to York earlier this year. This is our go to when we are craving Chinese food. The fried chicken wings with shrimp fried rice is my favorite. Great prices would definitely recommend!

Chinese food for most part is standard. However their menu items do not match what we think that we are ordering. For instance chow mein is a noodle served with vegatables and meats. Chow mein here has different meaning. With no chow mein served with their chow mein dish. Their lo mein is not lo mein. It is spaghetti noodles. Mongalian beef has bell pepper instead of springs onions. They refuse to fix these interputations.
