China & Hibachi

It is a very busy Christmas Day. The food was okay. Some of the vegetables in my husband's teriyaki chicken were cold and his rice is soggy. Our meals came out separately. The staff worked hard and as fast as possible. They pleasantly let customers know how long it would be before their meal would be ready. The restaurant is clean. It could use an inside paint job. The building looks like a former fast food restaurant. Most of the service was through the drive thru window.

"5/5 stars! China Hibachi in Forest City is a gem! We've been here several times and have always enjoyed delicious, freshly prepared Chinese food. The service is fast and efficient, even when ordering through the drive-thru. Be prepared to wait a bit longer (20-25 minutes) if you order the egg foo young, but trust us, it's well worth it! We've tried both the vegetable and chicken versions, and they're both mouthwateringly good. The portions are generous, and you'll definitely leave feeling satisfied. China Hibachi has become our go-to spot for Chinese food, and we can't recommend it enough!

Don't let the unassuming building dissuade you. This place serves up tasty food in less time than it will take you to drive there. My husband and I got chicken lo mein and king psi chicken. The noodles were thick and delicious, there was plenty of chicken and the veggies were crisp and flavorful. This is what was left after two people ate their fill.

Food is good and I'd say the best fried rice out of all the chinese restaurants in the Forest city, Rutherfordton, Spindale area. Just make sure they read your order back to you before you hang up.

This must be under new management. Food is horrible. All you taste is grease which leaves a film in your mouth! Person taking order could not understand food items requested from the menu. Wrong order received. Horrible experience!

I have a feeling people are sleeping on this place. Egg rolls are fresh and actually hand rolled, the owners I'm guessing were actually the nicest I've come in contact with. I live close to 45mins away and will drive up here just to eat here. Go give them a chance.

This has become our goto place for Chinese food. The staff is super nice and the food is always great!

Food was great, never had Chinese before outside of some grocery store dumplings but consider me in love. Service was great, no misunderstandings. The ambience is nice, not grandiose, just a small place.

Hot and Affordable and Freshly Made!I despaired of finding a good made-to-order Chinese Food place in town and gave this place a try. I think Chinese Food is best when made to order and not sitting out on a steamer table. I ordered two Schezchuan specialties and they were delicious with fresh veggies and just the right amount of spice. They even bring your order out to your car!

This is a true HIDDEN GEM! China and Hibachi was sold to new owners last year and the food is AMAZING! The beef with broccoli is my favorite. I also like their bourbon chicken, which NO other Chinese restaurants in the area have. This place is family owned and they take pride in the place. My husband is a vegetarian and there are many options for him on their menu. There is a wait if you just show up but if you call ahead you can pick up your order in the drive -thru without even getting out of the car. I like that the food is fresh and made to order with large portions. I eat here at least once a week!
