This is a much smaller location which I like especially nice you have nice kids. I had a coupon from Park Hop that said I would get $2 off up to 4 admissions. I gave the girl at the front desk my coupon and she acted like she didn't know what it was. She went to the back to ask and they confirmed that it was indeed legit. I noticed my total was more than expected and I asked her if she took off the coupon. She said she did for one person. I told her it would be for up to 4 people. She told me no. I asked her to check the coupon again and she saw what it said and "huffed" and went back to ask again. I honestly thought it was pretty rude! They have two stories. It's not a ton to do but my kids were entertained. They were more entertained downstairs with the water table more than upstairs. The bathrooms were clean. There were a lot of spots to do pretend play as well. Parking is on the street if you can find one or in the free lot across the street.

What a great addition to the Spartanburg downtown landscape. Visiting the folks with my little and we had a nice outing at the museum. From playing operation and weighing babies to checking out the flow of water downstairs. They even give a discount for the foster children!

We were visiting in-laws and I have two girls: 6 & 3. Since it's the end of May and super hot outside, this was a great place to kill some time! My 6 year old got " bored " after about an hour, (that's because she "expected" it to be bigger) but my three year old was entertained with everything! They have an extra room for story times and stem activities, which is great! I loved that there is a baby chair area for babies to play with the water & not get soaked! For a Friday afternoon, it was quiet with about 10-15 people throughout the entire museum. We were there from about 11-1.

The original plan today was for my daughter and her two boys and I to go to the Children's Museum in Greenville, S.C. That museum is many times larger than the one here. There is so much more to do there! The place is gigantic! I'm not meaning to take anything away from this smaller museum but the other one is a must see place for children! No masking is required here and I certainly hope that we are over that stuff! In all fairness; there's quite a bit of educational activity here! It's been a pretty darn good babysitter! Both grandkids have been playing for about two hours! Happy as they can be ! I recommend this children's museum to parents with kids!

If you have children seven and under, this is a great place to bring them for a fun and educational experience! There are lots of things for them to play with, to build with and to learn. This two-story children's museum is in downtown. Street parking is free and the parking garage across the street is free for the first two hours. This place isn't big, but the opportunities sure are!A water table is one of the favorite attractions, and my boys spent most of their time playing with it, building dams, spraying targets and really enjoying it.The wooden train table was a close second! The main level features a treehouse for climbing in and a slide for fun. Other features include a medical station, a play cafe, a grocery store and a craft room. The museum-affiliated with the large one in Greenville hosts camps during the summer. They offer military discounts too!We live much closer to Edventure in Columbia, but this is much better for smaller kids. It's cleaner too! This is a neat place in a neat town!

Parking was easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is designed for 5 and under. We brought a 3 yr old and it was perfect. There is a lot to do but about 1:30 hours is ideal for us. We played with all the stations and had art time.

We drove up from Greenville to try out the second museum included with our membership but sadly we're spoiled with the Greenville location. This place isn't bad for locals but it certainly isn't worth a trip to try it out. It's about 1/8 the size of the main location if that with very few and limited activities. A water/splash station, small grocery area, tree house play area, 2 building block areas, a train table & then 2 ball pit/baby crawl areas. Sounds like a lot but it's not as much as you'd think. We spend almost an hour there before the kids were bored.

Cute little spot perfect for a couple hours of fun with my 1.5yo! It's not nearly as big as TCMU Greenville but still has a lot to offer. It's geared toward kids 5 and under, with a market, treehouse, book nook, pretend doctors clinic, water table, building stations and two padded spots for crawlers 18mo and below. Family bathrooms are available on each level. Easy and cheap parking ($2) is available right across the street in Magnolia St Garage. There are many great spots for lunch right around the corner as well (we tried Downtown Deli and Donuts and it was awesome!). As TCMU members, we will definitely be back when we want to change it up from the downtown Greenville location!

Was a bit underwhelming. Wish there was more fun things to do. Would be nice if they had a coffee shop for parents or a cafe to have lunch with your little one. Music would be nice as well. Maybe some guided activities with staff involvement? It has potential, but needs some imagination.

Way too small ! It's fun for toddlers but any older and it either feels cramped or too young for the older kids.
