Overall, the museum has updated and evolved through the years to include more interactive activities for the kids. Though, when it's busy, especially during the summer with a lot of summer camps attending, the crowds can be overwhelming. Issues I noticed: There are not enough aprons in the water table area and the hand dryer doesn't work. There are too few race car parts in the racetrack area. The construction area needs repair and updating. As my grandchildren have gotten older, I've found that there is less for them to be interested in here. In addition, charging parents for admission is still discouraging. Why not allow one parent in for free since supervision is necessary? Just a thought.

Tips for stationary parents... you've gotten to that lucky stage where your child isn't trying to injure themselves every 5 minutes. They can be left alone to play!1. Bring a friend/friends to keep your children company. Bonus if you have ebt or wic- huge discounts. Just flash your card.2. Sit yourself right at the stairs leading up to the 3rd level. (Museum entrance is at the 2nd level) it's a huge circle so they'll pass you by every once in a while.3. On level 3. A blue bench near the earthquake building simulator gives you a good lookout for the whole level.4. Bring lunch, there's a cafeteria area on the bottom/1st level. 5. Beware the outdoor merry-go-round. It goes fast and kids fly.Enjoy your noisy yet calm Museum experience!Side note to active parents: sorry, you're gonna be chasing your kid all over this dang place.

WOW! What a shocker this place was ! It's humongous in size and has a tremendous amount of interactive activities for kids! Something to interest all of them! We had been to the Children's Museum in Spartanburg S.C. on numerous occasions and I thought that place was educational! It's only a small scale version of this one ! Here there are three floors jam packed with engineering activities, NASCAR pit crew tutorials for kids; art; architectural demos. ; you name the field. Something to peak the interest of every child! We were so impressed that we purchased season tickets! We literally had to drag our kids out of the place when it was time to leave! Places like this help open the minds and imaginations of youngsters; a group that will someday be in charge and take our places in society! I mostly highly recommend this great learning center for anyone with small children!

So much to do. My toddler loved it very much. I just wish a lot of the areas were closed off. More use as a park than for educational purposes but still enjoyable.

WOW! this place is SO fun! They had TONS of exhibits. All very hands-on and interactive. I could see kids spending HOURS running around here. There is space for arts and crafts, quiet areas, sensory areas for those who are feeling overwhelmed, music rooms, outdoor play areas (that are wheelchair accessible on another level of awesome), water exhibits... the list goes on. And it felt so fixated on helping kids learn and grow in their independence, coordination, brain cognition, and higher education...without seeming that way to the kids. Thats so important. Lots of staff, so always someone to ask questions of. And there are sanitizer stations all over the 60,000Sq ft of play space (crazy, right? Legit, this place is massive!) It didnt look like there was food on site, so pack a snack, and parking may be tricky, but we just used the library parking lot and that worked great. Price was super fair, though it may be more beneficial to get a membership since it pays for itself in 10 visits per year. Which is EASY to achieve. Especially on hot South Carolina summer days when school is out. HA!Highly recommend checking out the upside down room as well (pictured) especially if youre a Netflix "Stranger Things" fan like me ;)

I came here for a birthday party and it did not disappoint. The only issue I had was that it was super hard to find parking. The parking lot if joint with the theatre next door so parking was super limited. We had to circle around several times but we were able to find a parking up front near drop off. The staff was super friendly and the party seemed really organized. They were helpful and so great with the kids. My daughter had a wonderful time here and I can't wait to bring her back!

We love this children's museum so much that we've been twice in as just many months. Having lived in Atlanta for more than a decade, I'd never had an interest in going to Greenville but the pandemic changed all of that. Abstaining from plane travel these days, we quell our craving for adventure via short road trips. Our kid loves this museum. The Open Art Studios is a favorite destination from which our kiddo leaves with art projects to display at home. He also spends tons of time at the Reedy River Bend and leaves wet though he wears one of the provided waterproof smocks. Oh well. There's the Garage Rock, which has lots of instruments for the kids to rock out on, and the Animation Studio, where there are long strips of paper to draw your own short film. I could go on and on but I'll spare you. My kid has driven a race car, piloted a spaceship, bought groceries at Publix, examined human anatomy, performed a teddy bear check-up, and helped me with a cash withdrawal as a bank teller. Each time we've spent a couple hours at the museum before our bellies rumble, telling us it's time for lunch. There is always a lot left to see and do, so I know we'll return. Plus Greenville is such a fun city to visit. If you have kids, they will have an incredible time here learning and playing. Not much else you can ask for!

This is one of the best Children's Museums that I've been to. It's three stories of fun activities and learning, and our 4 and 7 yr olds had a great time. You could easily spend 2-3 hours here.Pricing is very reasonable and they have free parking as well.

THERE ARE 3 FLOORS???!!!! 1st floor has food and water tables (keep in mind that I am a child writing from a parent's account). 2nd floor has cars and anatomy (an-at-emy). 3rd floor has... I forget. In the very correct words of Shan W. "Side note to active parents: sorry, you're gonna be chasing your kid all over this dang place."PS: Ryan Trahan is my senpai.
