Chicken King

This was our first time at the CK despite seeing it for a few years. No really good places to eat in Chester, but this was truly awesome. Breakfast. More than we could eat. Hot and served quickly. Clean dining area and very nice people. My husband was not well and couldn't finish but agreed it was just delish. We will visit again!!!!

I went in this place at 11am. It took till 11:40 to get my food. When I complained the cook got mouthy and the counter girl was rude. The chicken was greasy and bland. Tea tasted like it was from the night before. Absolutely disgusting experience. 0 stars!

Stopped by to grab some lunch after running errands and wanted to try some different places around town. Chicken King was pretty good! My Philly Cheesesteak was fresh, hot and tasty. I love Mac and Cheese so I gave it a try. It was creamy, cheesy and hot. Food was cook to order and had an experienced staff. I would definitely recommend if your in the Chester area.

I have been going here for years. They're a friendly and family atmosphere. I've only been disappointed once and that's when they ran out of pork chops. My favorite. The Owner apologized and promised that they'd been in soon. They did I had to get pork chop sandwiches and dinner fix. Lol

Best place to eat in Chester. Great food..Great People..My only complaint is that the fish is so good its all i want to order..Awesome place..

Our family has been going to Chicken King for years! The food was always good and hot and the staff were very friendly! You could always count on Chicken King. Unfortunately we haven't been to there in a few months, so today we decided to go. Apparently it's under new management and you can tell. Long wait. When we did finally get our food it was awful, especially because the prices have been raised as well. The fries and onion rings were bland and soggy. The fish I ordered wasn't crisp at all and came with skin when I had paid extra for none. And the chicken tenders my children ordered had barely any sauce. All around, it was horrible and we won't be going back anytime soon.

Don't judge the book by the cover. It was once a drive up restaurant. Very clean inside. Food was great and like others said huge portion especially for the cost. We just stopped in by chance and based on YELP reviews. We will be back every year as we travel through. Plus I love to support small business over big chains any day.

My grandma brought us food from here a little while ago. My son is allergic to egg so she asked if they used egg in the batter. The owner himself said it came pre mixed and he did not know. How does the owner of a restaurant not know the ingredients in his food and also does he not know how to read a nutrition or ingredients label? Is he serve safe certified. Is anybody cooking the food serve safe? How are they not even aware of possible allergens? So ignorant

Very good food and a lot of it. I had the seafood and chicken which was very good. I probably had more then 2 dozen shrimp on the plate. All food is fried but very tasty.

3 Pick Combo!! I got trout, perch, and shrimp! Chicken fingers was the 4th pick. Hard to see the pile of popcorn shrimp covered by the 4 pieces of perch and trout!! Fried okra and squash on the side! Hush puppies tucked in all the crevices! All for just $10.75 plus it was delicious and service was great!! Id easily pay $16-$18! Told owner I wanted to tried the chicken but thought I had to much! It was my first visit so he brought out a leg and thigh or free!!! Wow!!
