Chicken King

There a a few Chicken King locations in Charlotte, but I happen to feel that this one is the best! There is ample free parking in the front. You walk up to the window and place your order. Tina took my order and she was very helpful with suggestions for my selection. She insisted that I would like the shrimp and she was right! You can go back to your car or you can wait outside for your food to be ready. Tgere us no inside dining. I have to say it was relatively affordable and more food than could eat! The fries were crinkle fries and they had just a little salt, enough to make them tasty. The coleslaw I may not order again, but that's just my personal preference- I love a chunky coleslaw, and this one was finely minced. The oysters were slightly overcooked, but they were lightly breaded and delicious. The Jumbo shrimp, also lightly breaded was what Tina said they would be and I enjoyed them. My flounder was the star of the show! They were bigger pieces than I am used to getting and they were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I had forgotten about this spot, but it is back in rotation!

Best food in a 50 mile radius!!! It's tucked away and pickup only... but doesn't matter where you eat it... you'll only remember that you're going back again! Great service, fast, fresh, and the front is glass so you can see how clean it is too! Thank you La Shawn for recommending!

Pulled up & it looked closed. Empty. No lights on. 1 blue car parked to the right of the building. Painted on the glass is a message saying call in only (or take out only). I should've taken a picture. I'm at another location.I did actually call while I was still in the parking lot & got a message that the line was busy. If it's call in only or if they're closed, it needs to be made known just as the Bradford Rd location.

Chicken king the cheese burger platter and flounder platter are the best chicken livers are good when they fry them right

I've never had a bad meal from Chicken King. I usually go to the West Blvd. location or the one off S. Tryon. I've had the fried chicken, cheesesteak, grilled chicken sandwich, and ribeye sandwich. All have been delicious. Both the ribeye and chicken sandwich come with lettuce and tomato and I believe mayo. The staff is super nice and the West Blvd. location allowed my friend to shoot a music video in their parking lot. The food is always hot, fast, and affordable - there are always daily specials and with a vast menu you'll have no problem finding something great to eat there.

This location has by far the worst customer service. The one lady running the front is very loud and rude. I wanted a salad with romaine lettuce (who even eats iceberg), and they were arguing back forth with me over the salad. I simply asked for romaine lettuce or a refund. I wasn't paying $12 for an iceberg lettuce salad. The lady told me that my co-worker had to drive up to the restaurant to get a refund since she was the one that placed the order. Why would someone that is at work leave work to come and get a refund, when I was already standing right there? If you want good service and a romaine lettuce salad please visit the location on Nations Ford. My co-worker went to get lunch today, and they refused to service her. I will never go back to this location.

I ordered the chicken tender dinner and it is always delicious. The chicken tenders crunchy and juicy and the fries seasoned to perfection with seasoned salt. The ranch dressing is the bomb to dip your fries and chicken tenders in. I have been to almost all their locations and the food is always great. The employees are always friendly. I have no complaints.

I hate there service they don't care about how the food looks or taste and they will get an attitude if you call them on it. There a joke if you ask my opinion. A hit or miss. Mostly miss is my experience. And on and off for the last 10 or 12 years..

If I could give this place a zero fucking star , it would've had it ,I ordered a burger meal or whatever , and it was cold n tasted like fish , I don't eat fish , if I wanted sun fucking fish I would've ordered it , the fries weren't fresh , the food literally stunk , smelled like it was sitting in hotdog water for 6 hours , it was hair on it , it was just horrible , with this location it's a hit or miss , and after that I'm done
