Worth the trip!!! Fresh food. Served hot and so full of flavor. Tried the Seafood Casserole. Served in a piping hot ceramic pot. The flavor of the sauce is WOWZA and I wanted more!!! So much seafood! Great price. The Generals shrimp was seasoned well heat was a 3 and it was perfect. Crispy shrimp not overcooked. Broccoli bright green and perfectly cooked. Excited to make the trip to Asheville again soon!!!

Finding good Chinese food can be hard. Tonight I decided to give Chen Garden a chance & try the General Tso's Chicken. It was so good! Lightly breaded, crispy, and I loved that the sauce wasn't goopy. Perfection!

A new Asian restaurant has soft opened on Long Shoals with a grand opening scheduled for May 2nd. My partner and I were fortunate to stop in on Sunday to grab a couple of menus. The interior was so inviting we decided to stay for a meal. Miles Chen came to our table to introduce himself. We started with a bowl of freshly steamed edamame that were lightly sauteed and lightly salted. Followed by 6 Crab Rangoon with sweet chilu sauce. Entrees included chicken Lo Mein and beef Pad See Yu. Both noodles were cooked perfectly and the meat was nicely seasoned and tender. The chicken melted in one's mouth. Full service including beer and wine is expected to be available for the grand opening. The interior and menu items gave me a warm comfortable feeling which is a plus.

New Asian restaurant in Arden, NC. I happened to be out enjoying the weather and noticed a new Asian restaurant nestled in the back of a strip mall. This location is not the best. So, I quickly came to Yelp to share my experience. Upon entering, it has a calm vibe. It is somewhat small. Seating approx 40 max.. I was quickly greeted and seated. I learned they just opened (still in the soft opening phase). So, I prepared myself for some of the things that come with new openings. I am happy to say there were none. Their liquor license is not in yet. But, the menu shows what is coming.I decided to try a few things and plan for leftovers. So, I started with the Shrimp Gyoza. Ot was VERY good. I could clearly taste the shrimp and quite fresh. I then ordered the Ginger Pepper Steak and Shrimp Fried Rice and a side of Chili Oil.Everything was delicious, and I can't wait to come back and try the Curry and Pho.

First visit this afternoon and we could not have been more pleased! Restaurant has very nice vibe with attractive decor. Service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Spring Rolls and Shrimp Shumai for starters. Dug in before I could take a photo but both were delicious. For an entree I ordered the Seafood Casserole which was served in a sizzling bowl. It was loaded with shrimp, calamari, mussels and scallops along with red and green peppers, onion and clear noodles. It was absolutely delicious!!! My husband had the Mongolian Beef which was also delicious. The beef was tender and very flavorful. We look forward to visiting again soon!!!

First time trying Chen Garden. Was served by the owner and he was explaining to me how their White Sauce is a family recipe. It's very unique and I would eat here again just for the White Sauce. I had Hibachi Chicken and the portions were great for the money. The attentions to detail are amazing. They silverware and chopsticks are all custom made and say Chen Garden on them. Very nice touch!I will definitely be back. Yum yum. Eat here!

Happened upon a new restaurant in Arden ~ Chen Garden - Asian Bistro. It is tucked away at 100 Julian Shoals Dr. #10. The food is all freshly prepared with the perfect selected spice level. We sampled two appetizers: Harumaki (Japanese Spring Rolls) & Fried Spider (Soft Shell Crab). We also sampled Seafood Pho, Shrimp Lo Mein and Beef Singapore Mai Fun. Each item was fresh & hot & delicious. Asian Bistro ~ with curries, noodles, soup, hibachi, teriyaki, boxes. Even has a Lunch menu ~ available 11:00 -3:00 Monday - Saturday. We will certainly go back soon!dd

This was our first visit but definitely not our last. The staff were attentive and polite. Everything was fresh full of flavor and taste.

Great food and service. Worth the drive across town. The menu has plenty to choose from and prices are reasonable.
