Chef Kendra Alexander

I called Kendra on a Friday to cater a business luncheon for five on the following Monday. I gave her very little direction - that there were two vegetarians in the group, and that was it. She prepared a BEAUTIFUL meal of lemon pepper chicken (for the meat eaters) and veggie pasta salad for the vegetarians. The meal came in four courses: salad (she brought three dressings), entrée, dessert (cookies individually wrapped for each person), and fruit after our meal.She arrived 45 minutes before I did (I was flying in from Baltimore) to set up, and the table scape was beautiful. She brought her own linens, real ceramic dishes, glass glasses, etc. And on top of that, she served us throughout the meal. Basically, Kendra brought the four star dining experience of a restaurant to us (and on very short notice, I reiterate). She is capable of doing both small parties and larger functions such as weddings (up to 500 people). If you need catering in the Charlotte area, I highly highly highly recommend Kendra. You cannot go wrong.

Kraving Catering provided my daughter with a beautiful and delicious array of gluten-free appetizers and desserts for her wedding reception, along with lovely wedding reception table decorations. My daughter (the future bride) planned her wedding reception with Chef Kendra of Kraving Catering. She often raved about Chef Kendra's help throughout the process: "She is wonderful to work with! Chef Kendra is such a big help! She gets right back to me! She has wonderful ideas!"I met Chef Kendra prior to the actual wedding. She and her crew were personable, prompt and professional. My daughter was thrilled with the delicious desserts, as were our guests. When Chef Kendra found out how our wedding cake baker bowed out at the last minute, she baked the bride and groom a special gluten-free wedding cake for them! (as a wedding gift to them)It was a wonderful relief to know we didn't have to think about tablecloths and table decorations; Kraving Catering provided them and they were lovely.They were a joy to work with; we highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

We had the pleasure of working with Kraving Catering, Kendra & Erica this weekend for my Big 40 celeb! My husband started working with Kendra making sure menu is what I like & other touches. Kendra was prompt to answer and give suggestions. Kendra made me feel a priority. I kept telling my husband I couldn't wait to meet her. We hired them from Fri- Sun to cater our event & it was one of the best decision my husband made. Our families & friends love the food, they devoured and talked about how delicious the food are. Also talked about how Kendra and Erica are so personable. They love the presentation of the food. Kendra & Erica work so in sync everything was so smooth. Kendra, would say, no worries we will make it work. Every time I get a chance I could not resist giving them both hugs to show how grateful my husband and I are. I understand it's a business but the way they work with us, they made me feel like it's their own birthday & they were going to make it Perfect! IT WAS! I will call on Kendra again for any of my catering needs and I highly recommend them.

Did a wonderful job. Food was wonderful. They went well beyond what was expected. Everyone raved over their food. Don't hesitate to use them, everything was great.

Kraving Catering is a professional, timely and tasteful catering service! With short notice, they were able to accommodate a diverse cuisine brunch! The two types of foods were great and I would definitely use them in the future!

I can't compliment Chef Kendra and Kraving Catering enough!I asked her to cater for my wedding - a variety of gluten-free desserts and appetizers. (My favorite: gluten-free cheesecake, beautifully presented in an elegant champagne glass.) Even at the tasting I was blown away by how INCREDIBLE everything tasted. You would never know it was gluten free!She also took care of all my decorations and was especially patient and helpful with me because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. She is amazing. She was very thorough with everything and made sure I knew exactly what was going on and I am so impressed with the way she worked with me.She and her team even magically pulled together a dazzling wedding cake for me (as a gift!) when my wedding cake baker cancelled last minute.She is so personable, professional, and such a joy to work with and I recommend her to anyone and everyone in need of a caterer.

Chef Kendra made a fantastic spread for my wedding reception last weekend. It was creative and well presented, not to mention tasty! Chicken salad to die for, incredible meatballs, yummy pasta salad in a jack-o-lantern serving bowl, and veggie egg rolls... all delivered in plenty of time, with a smile, on what I'm sure was a busy party weekend. Call her! You won't be disappointed!

Called them on a Wednesday to see if they could cater our wedding on a Saturday. They put it all together. They have good prices. (not out to break the bank)I don't like pepper so she fixed mine without.If anyone needs a good cater she would be the one.She did a great job.I will always use her if I need to have anything catered again she will be the one I useThanks for everything
