Charros Mexican Restaurant

started with chips & queso which hit the spot as always! the large queso was more than enough for 5! had the chicken soup which was so so flavorful. had lots of veggies and perfect amounts of garlic / herbs. my soup came with a cheese quesadilla as a lunch menu and it was fireeee. my gf got the monterrey tacos which she said was good but the jalapeños were a bit overwhelming! and she loves spice. waiter was awesome, timely and helpful. classic local mexican réassurant that hits the spot

My family has ate here several times. Restaurant is always very clean and pleasant. Tons of chips and different kinds of salsa & beans before ordering. Staff is always very nice and attentive. One time we visited there was an elderly man eating alone. His waitress sat down and let him share his story with her. He was able to also hear my babies carry on behind him. You could tell that he appreciated the company. As a CNA and mother of two that went a long way with us. My favorite taco's are the Monterrey Tacos. The plate always comes with rice, cucumber, radishes, and tomatillo sauce. I love chorizo and their tomatillo sauce is my favorite!. They really are the best. Their rice has corn, carrots, and peas lightly in it. It is so much better and adds flavor. We've also had the grilled chicken and carne asada tacos. Would order them again as well. The queso fundido, handmade guacamole, nachos as appetizers - all amazing! The verde sauce is hot if you add it on enchiladas instead. Not for kids unless they like hot stuff. I don't have many pictures to add to our dinner because I'm always excited to come here I forget. It is always a good time.

Love the Mexican Soup! Plenty chicken, huge portions of veggies, topped with pico and chunks of fresh avacado! Served with crispy tortilla topping and rice to stir in. Chips & delicious salsa on the side... full belly!

Excellent food and service. We love Mexican food and is the best we've had in a while. We came across it by pure accident and so happy we did. Will be coming back for sure.

Charros is so good. The food is on point and I've never had anything bad here. Not a big fan of the can micheladas but that's just me. Love all the salsa choices and the house salsa is so good!!

This establishment is a nice place on the outside but confused inside insects inside flying the waiter was nice but forgot a lot of food that was order only checked on us twice chicken was hard food was not that good it looked good but the taste was different

Went in for a late lunch after a business meeting. They had $3 House Margaritas on special. I had one, and it was great. The salsa served with chips was not as flavorful or spicy as I would have liked. Chipotle salsa was smoky as expected. I got the Quesadilla Rellenas. It was delicious - but rather small. Beans and rice were good. Service was good as well. I'd come back if in the area.

IF you're a fan of Tex Mex cuisine. IF you happen to be in Concord. IF you don't want to spend an-arm-and-a-leg..... check out Charros! We initially came because of the convenience to our hotel. But we return because the food is consistently good.I really took crummy photos this time. (Sorry!) My pollo relleno was delish. (I should've rotated the plate before snapping the shot! You can't see the chicken and the sauce looks congealed. It didn't in person!) A simple chicken breast with mushrooms, mozzarella and peppers. Supposed to be covered in sauce. (No! Put it on the side!) Rice and beans. (No! Can I have salad instead of the beans?)The staff happily complied and didn't charge extra for the guacamole salad I substituted.T ordered carnitas. They were delicious. And our small pitcher of frozen margaritas was flavorful, potent and a deal at only $13. When the weather is conducive, it's relaxing to sit outside -- which we did. Yay! Five stars for a great dinner, perfect ambience and a welcoming server. BTW, my requests? I'm not as gruff as I sound. I always say please!

Undisclosed 4% added to the bill. That is not okay! I feel deceived when a restaurant uses tactics like this. There are other places that are honest about their prices, and I'll patronize honesty.

The restaurant was nicely clean and large . The food was great and the bean's were tasty The waitress was helpful it was our 1st time. Didn't have to wait along time for are food
