(From June, 2023)Charlotte's own amphitheatre/pavilion area for concerts and live shows proved to be a solid venue for live music experiences. I got lucky with getting a floor ticket for the Logic concert back in early June. Finding a spot in the lower right-side of the stage, I was pleased with the view of the stage and the performances which included Juicy J performing before the main act himself, Bobby Tarrantino aka Logic. The energetic crowd added to the festive evening; people mostly were well-behaved. If they weren't, security got involved quick which a lot of us were thankful for. Support your local security guards people! To arrive, I decided to walk from my hotel which is about a mile and a half and located in the downtown Charlotte area. Fortunately I was able to cut through the cemetery which took me to music factory blvd. After walking another couple of blocks, you're in the music factory section which includes several concert venues, some restaurants/bars, and a parking lot. Interesting concept in having multiple venues within the same vicinity. The amphitheater is on the eastern side and easily recognizable which made getting in and out pretty easy. I don't recommend driving here as there is traffic jams when trying to leave. Best to either leave on foot or hang out at one of the restaurants/bars until the commotion dies down.Logic put on a show and look forward to catching him again. Maybe back here again!"Living like this is so crazy, this world is amazingOne day you're on top and the next she having your baby"-Logic - I'm gone

The first time coming here was for Janelle Monae. My friend and I was confused on where to park as there was absolutely nobody directing traffic on the street to area where there's multiple venues. We just parked in the first lot we noticed and paid. We were able to see our venue from the lot, but had no clue how to get there. Thankfully, we weren't the only ones who was lost. There was a nice amount of us, at least 15 who were just as lost as us. Lucky for us, a waitress from a nearby restaurant pointed us in the right direction and told us that it happens a lot. We, once again, walked around the corner, but went even further than before and saw the entrance. You have to go down a driveway, into a parking lot. There we finally saw someone directing traffic into a parking lot for the show. Once we finally got there, we were notified that our crossbody bags were too big. They needed to be smaller or transparent. I don't even recall reading that. So we had to hike back to the car. It's a good thing we got there early, but at this point I was tired. Went through security. It went off on me twice. I was wand down without a problem. We were directed to our seats. I noticed that we were next to the bathroom, but the only way to get to it was to walk all the way back up the stadium seating and go around the railing. There was no direct stairway close to us. We were sitting in the front row, closest to the bathroom. The performance was amazing. The sound was great. We sat close to the stage, by some of the sound equipment, and it didn't blare or boom, like some do. Perhaps because we're at an amphitheater, which is how it should be. The lights were perfect. The smoke and confetti did its job without drowning those in VIP. The physical venue, overall was great. Just wished there was a touch of easier access to the merch shop and bathrooms. Oh! The bathrooms are totally gender neutral. Like men and women were in the same space. I was surprisingly comfortable with this. I'm not sure if they set it up like this solely because of the performing artist, or if the venue supported the community. I love it. I just hope they also have separate bathrooms for those who are uncomfortable with it.

I really like this concert venue! It was my first time going to an outdoor concert, I usually don't care for them so I never bothered but this place was nice. I like that the floor was on an incline so you can see, even in the back. The weather was nice. I love that there are seats and it's not just standing room. There were plenty of concession options which is always great. And we got in and out in a timely manner! So much fun. We saw the Jonas Brothers!

The amphitheater is a nice place to watch a concert. There's not a bad seat in the house unless you are near the stage where everyone wants to stand up to video themselves. During the performance, many people came from the back (grass seating) towards the front near the stage, and proceeded to record video of themselves. I saw security whisk them away but others kept coming. You must be prepared to stand up when you are seated in the first 15 rows, or so. Parking, well, I made the mistake of reserving parking in the Avid Xchange deck. It took over an hour to get out of the lot after the show. My niece was home before I left the parking deck and we left shortly before the show ended. I think Uber/Lyft will be a better option when I return. Or, get there very early and get into a lot/space where you can get out quickly. Skip the deck unless you want to hang around after the show ends.

This was my first time coming to this venue as I was visiting family from out of town. The venue has a lovely setup with the lawn area and the chairs. The food and drinks were to the side of the seating and stage area and were easily accessible. The price for alcoholic drinks was reasonable given that it is an event venue. The bathrooms were great! They did have some port-a-potties around I think, but there were decent, actual bathrooms on the inside part next to the stage. Things I didn't care for - Parking and the no sidewalk path to get to the venue. Parking was pay by app and we had to walk in the road to get to the venue.Beer selection could have more range. I am neither an IPA fan or a hard seltzer fan. Communication for the concert after a big thunderstorm. Our event was evacuated due to a thunderstorm. The communication of whether it would go on, be rescheduled, or cancelled left a lot of people soaked and hanging around for what I considered an unreasonable amount of time. All in all, I will be back for the reschedule of that concert with my sister, and I look forward to enjoying the venue itself! Great location and really pretty setup. Apologies for the photo. It was the only one I snapped before the storm!

My first event at Charlotte Metro Credit Union was to see Leon Bridges. I had lawn seats and I didn't know what to expect. Definitely do your due diligence to come prepared. They have a clear bag policy so, if you're not bringing a tiny wristlet that fits into the insane rectangle bag example at the entry table, you'll have to walk your stuff back to your car (granted you drove) or pay $10 to check your bag at entry where they'll give you a clear bag to take out and keep what you need. Space in the amphitheater is ample. Get in early to get a good spot.

Whew!! Okay, so where do I start...OK so first and foremost let me say, I came here on a Friday night for an 8 PM concert. Kehlani was awesome!!Now, that being said, specifically about the pavilion, this is a nice, outdoors pavilion that creates an intimate vibe for musical concerts. I don't have any real complaints about the pavilion itself other than the fact that there is no covering for the audience at all... Please keep this in mind that all events are rain or shine!I think if I had to have an issue, it would be with the parking... I don't know about past or future events, but on this particular evening, parking was $20 per vehicle. And if I had to give you any major tips about coming to events here, I would absolutely definitely without a shadow of a doubt recommend people come early! Try to capitalize on parking closer to the front of the parking area rather than in the back. I say this for two main reasons...1. Post Covid, this location is yet another event venue that has gone to a *clear bag policy*. And for all the ladies out there with pocketbooks or even anyone who wants to bring in a fanny pack, backpack, etc.... They have very specific measurements for any bags brought into the location. On this particular day, I had a small Michael Kors handbag that came with the long strap. My goal was to wear my bag Crossbody for the event. Even that bag, they stated it was too big to bring into the venue. So... I had to turn around and walk all the way back to my vehicle which was parked towards the back end of the grass area of the parking lot. Which sucked because, I ended up pretty much missing all opening acts.2. Then, after the concert, came the departure of everyone attempting to leave the parking area. Which was an absolute disaster. Even with lot attendants and police officers, it created this huge stand still of cars in a sea of red lights, all waiting to leave. We literally sat and went nowhere for at least an hour after the event. So all in all, the concert venue itself is fine. But the parking situation definitely could use some improvements. Moral of the story? Arrive as early as possible, and park towards the front of the parking lot area so that when it comes to exiting you can be one of the first to do so

We ended up bailing on our Counting Crows tickets. We checked the website before the show and it said that chairs without roofs, arm extensions or leg extensions are allowed. Apparently that includes bag chairs, but that is certainly not at all clear. We were turned away with our average sized lawn chairs, which are allowed at PNC run by the same company. Know your audience, nobody seeing Counting Crows wants to sit on the ground.

Great spot to catch a show. They bring in all kinds of artists but to date I've seen Hozier, Lizzo, and The Head and the Heart here. I love the lawn seats and have never had problems with seeing a good view of the stage.Concessions are HORRIBLE. Do not plan on eating here. Gross as gross can be. Plenty of other good options nearby. Do not come hungry!
