I visited for the Steel Magnolia's play from Spartanburg Little Theatre an was so impressed! Its a bit far but still walking distance from all the fun eats and treats of Main Street where you can enjoy dinner and drinks before a show, then walk it off. This space is very beautiful inside and outside. LED lit trees welcome you in, which is just magical at night. Friendly workers distribute tickets at will call and great priced snacks and drinks before the show and during intermission. The bathroom can be a little hard to find, I wish there was better signage. The theatre is a perfect medium size. The seats are comfortable and the ambiance is upscale and lovely. Sound, lighting, stage design, actors were all great! I would definitely see future productions at this awesome small theatre.

A very nice theatre with great views of the stage from every seat. The acting crew are more than superb and they come out to the lobby after the show to meet the audience. They sell some snacks, sodas and beer and wine. One complaint would be the sound system. Had a lot of crackling and feedback at the beginning of the show with some mic outages.

I come here on Sunday afternoons to enjoy free live music from local artists from 2 to 4. Chapman offers a variety of opportunities to experience art in a variety of forms. Theatre, art exhibits, live music, and much more. Spartanburg is very fortunate to have these beautiful facilities in the downtown area.

We went to the Spartanburg Little Theater(which is part of the Cultural Center) to see Blithe Spirit and it was really good. We have seen several of the productions here are extremely impressed. The best one we have seen so far was Mary Poppins one of the best productions we have every seen even compared to Broadway. I highly recommend this place.

The main reason I gave this place one start is the people they've hired to teach their classes. Each one has a different problem that I wouldn't want to expose my daughter to. About a year ago when I went to sign my daughter up for an art class they offer there. The woman teaching this class just had to be a big time drug addict. She acted like she was on pills or something. Very fidgety and unable to hold a proper conversation. She reeked of cigarettes and was just empty behind the eyes. Basically the maturity of a young teenager but probably in her 30s. A complete waste of a human life. There is no way after meeting with her would I ever bring my daughter here again. I hope she's been fired by now just to help this place save face. This isn't the type of person you'd want representing any organization.
