Geez - great venue but man oh man can you learn how to work the AC??? We were here for the Iron Fork competition and had to leave early because there were a TON of people and no AC on. We were dying. The venue is located right at Davidson and 26th or so in front of the breweries. There looked like there was parking around the back but we parked across Davidson in the grass lot on the other side.This would be a great venue for events if they can get the AC kinks worked out. Huge clean building with seating on one side. Can definitely see a reception of sorts being great here.

Great event space in a convenient location. The layout is open so you can style it how you'd like -- wide open with cocktail tables for a standing-only party, rows of seats for a speaking event, or something else entirely. I like the loft feel of the place and the fact that it's so close to all of the fun in NoDa. Definitely worth a look when you're planning your next event.

We recently hosted a wedding at CS. Although the space was what we were looking for, the owner and his staff were impossible to deal with. After working with one person for 10 months we received an email 2 weeks prior to the wedding saying that someone else would now be handling our wedding. Then proceeded to ask about details that were covered with the first person. When we had finally had enough I tried to call to speak with the 1st girl and was told she wasn't available until the end of the day. I then asked to speak with her supervisor and was given C. Allen's (the owner) voicemail. He called me back immediately and although we had not had any communication up until that point he proceeded to verbally attack me instead of addressing any issues that I had in a professional manner. I've never encountered a business owner/manager to be so unprofessional and rude. I cannot recommend this venue unless it is under new management. Which given the unprofessionalism, and complete disorganization may be in their near future.

Good place to have a worship service. Came here for elevation church's midweek experience and was left amazed at the feel of this place. Not too much better than CenterStage when it comes to event spaces in Charlotte. Comfortable couches, amazing decoration, and hip architecture. You might consider having your wedding reception here. They list a few recommended catering companies on their website to help on that front. Cool vibe to this place. I'll be back.
